Keystone Lake

Beautiful beautiful views and the rocks on the lakefront are just amazing! We loved walking the beach and the waterfront with our pups while visiting the state park. I do wish that people respected the lakefront more. The only place in the state park that I found litter was on the lakefront/beach area where day guests come. The park rangers stated they are hosting a cleanup day on Earth Day for the beach/lakefront. I hope that future guests will keep it clean because the views are just beautiful!

My home base for parks. Place is great. Well maintained and pleasant. Has a marina that includes a restaurant and small store.

Obviously you don't need to spend a lot of time here, but if you want too there are several pullouts for cars to park to relax, fish, or go camping down the road. There as well appeared to be a 4 wheeling area at the base of the dam. It seemed like a nice area just to chill if you wanted to drive up and admire the impressive infrarestructure they have created. The energy plant is nearby. I am sure at night this would be a nice place to take pictures. I don't know if I'll go out of my way to see this but if you're in the area doesn't hurt to drop by and check it out if you've never seen it before.
