Kenda’s Deli and Grill

Ordered takeout the other day and I thought Kenda was pretty average.I ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and the beef shawarma platter with a side of falafels.The chicken shawarma was ok. I opted to substitute the garlic dip for tahini, which is what I'm used to. The chicken was over seasoned and therefore, salty. Traditionally, shawarma meat is sliced off a vertical rotisserie skewer. This wasn't that.The beef shawarma again was salty and it didn't taste like a shawarma at all lol. They were more like cut up flank steaks or something and not shaved off. I did like the rice though. The hummus was meh. I think the paprika took over the natural flavoring of the chickpeas.The falafels were decent actually. They were crispy.Would I get this again? Probably not. My search for a good shawarma continues in Tulsa.

One of my favorite spots in town, don't think I have had a meal here that was not delicious. You cannot go wrong here. I really like the humus here it is my favorite in town!The plates are my go to going back and forth between the chicken kabab or the beef kafta, the chicken is well seasoned with an interesting marinade that makes it very unique around town and is delicious with rice, all when I am looking for something on the healthier side its a good go to. The gyro and fires is a good option too, really good portion size too. The couple that run the restaurant are super friendly which just makes the place good. There are some good looking burgers on the menu but I really like the plates here so that has been my go to, especially because of how much I like that Humus!

Wow. We are visiting town and we couldn't believe our luck when we ordered take out from here tonight. This place is SO amazing and good! The quality and flavors are beyond incredible! I truly feel this is the best Greek food I've ever had. We ordered to go a beef and chicken kebob combo platter and gyros sandwich no lettuce just tomato and onion. Each bite was so dang tasty and quality. We were in foodie heaven. This is what it's all about. Truly one of the best homestyle mom and pop greek places I've been to in ages. I am not kidding the food here is so delicious if I lived in Tulsa I would eat here everyday it's so good! Thank you to the owners and cooks for crafting such wonderful food!

We absolutely love Kenda's. The food is always consistently good. No matter what we order we always walk away full and happy. The owners are the absolute sweetest people. We try to make it in anytime we are in the area.

I'd heard of Kenda's from a friend a couple years back, but have never tried it as I'm rarely in that part of town. Today I happened to be in that part of town, I recognized the name on an unassuming spot on the west side of the street and decided to give it a shot.The place was very clean upon stepping in and I was greeted by a very friendly employee at the counter. I ordered the vegetarian platter and asked for no feta. The employee said there's no feta, but asked if I wanted the cheese off the salad to which I said yes. She then informed that the tahini sauce was made with yogurt which I really appreciated the consideration.The food came out fast and was all warm and fresh. The falafel was nice and crunchy without being burnt or dry. The dolmas were great and the hummus was truly exceptional. The portion was huge too. I barely made a dent in the rice.Everyone there was friendly and the food was great. Looking forward to trying other options there in the future.

Whatever they do to their rice is amazing. The hummus is so delicious and smooth. I'm always very pleasantly surprised with how good the food is.

Food is great and prices are reasonable, the owner are very nice and will adjust your order to give you what you want. Prompt device and a steady carry out. Wife got vegetarian plater and I got the chicken kabob and and beef kabob with Baba Ganouj and grape leafs which te owner customized my order at no charge and even mad it so it wasn't extra. Wife had falafels and hummus as sides. I will say she is a fa fan of Char Char. So I will say they are the two best Mediterranean fast foods in town and no need to go elsewhere. And the great thing is they have a different format for food so you must try them both and go nowhere els. The prices here are again are very good. We have now tried all the Middle East/ Mediterranean and these are the best. Give it a shot you will not be disappointed. Menu has good selection. Good for carry out too.

Wow. What a hidden gem for Mediterranean food in Tulsa. The food selection is fairly extensive. We had the Beef Shwarma and Vegetarian platters. Both were excellent. The ambiance is casual and you order at the counter. Service was friendly. We will definitely becoming back to try more of the menu items.

I don't make reviews often, but this place deserves it. I got the chicken and beef shawarma with tabouli and hummus. The meat was seasoned really well, and very tender. The tabouli was fresh, and the garlic sauce on the side was super flavorful. Food was prepared quickly and tasted great. I will definitely tell others about this place.
