Katy's Pantry

We've been long-time customers but quit going as often when they had the rude lady at the register. Went earlier this year and the rude lady wasn't there. Went this week and had a couple of younger girls and the food was off. They no longer have paninis but can still make the sandwich just not panini style. Received our order and it was a turkey and cheese sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes and the bread was so dry it fell apart. My broccoli and cheddar soup had been in the crockpot too long and look like Jello instead of soup. We also ordered chicken tetrazzini casserole. It was like a soup. When we brought it up to the girl at the register she said ok, then walked off. Pretty sad day when you can't get good food at Katy's.

I love sugar cookies. As a child my Aunt Ellen made the best and I have always looked for some similar and I found it here. The cookie was so close to her recipe I almost cried. Such a cute place and my husband loved the strawberry thumbprint cookies. The ladies at the counter were so helpful. 1000 out of 5 stars!!!

Always first rate food and service. The bakery goods are amazing. Take out food for cooking later also great.

Took the Grands here to pick out dessert for later in the day. The frosted cookies, chocolate peanut butter bar, pumpkin bar, turtle cheesecake were a few of the treats we chose. Not a single bite was met with disappointment or dissatisfaction. If you're counting calories, on some strict diet, not into sweets at all, I hear their salads and sandwiches are wonderful as well. According to the Grands, chick fil a is more their taste and not as expensive. Not sure about that last part Next time I'm in town, I'll be swinging by for a meal...and another home made treat from the bakery as well.

Was in town and looked up local places to eat. Stopped in here after reading reviews. It's in a small strip shopping center. Plenty of seating inside and a few small tables outside. It's is fresh and clean inside. There was not a line when we visited, so orders were brought to our table quickly. You order at the counter. They have multiple sandwich options, on fresh bread! One of us ordered the turkey club and loved it! Said the bacon was so good. One ordered the chicken Caesar, served with a warm slice of fresh white bread. I ordered the chicken tetrazzini with side salad. The best part was the side salad with fresh blue cheese dressing. It was packed full of fresh vegetables, lettuce, carrots, radishes, celery, cheese. The tetrazzini itself was cheesy, had celery, but was lacking in flavor. I would try something different next time. We got a slice of strawberry cake, Italian cream cake, and two sugar cookies. The cakes are kept in a cold cooler, they were super cold, which I usually like, but these were on the dry side. Icing was great flavor but cake itself was dry. The sugar cookies were flavorful, icing was perfect. They were cooked just right, done but not brown or overdone. They had other items you can purchase, while loaves of bread, granola, trays of cinnamon rolls. Seems like a good place for lunch, just need to find what I like. Give this local place a try.

The reuben sandwich is out of this world delicious. The bakery counter so enticing and beautiful! The sugar cookies are my absolute favorite- My only suggestion would be to use less almond flavoring in the icing of the sugar cookies. It's a little too strong for my palate.

Twist tie to bread was in my sandwhich... used to be so fresh and so good but this place has really gone down hill. So disappointing

Best home made food from scratch! Bread, cookies and cakes are always excellent! Their salads are always fresh with home made dressings. Sandwiches made from Katy's bread are a must try!

Waited 50 minutes for quiche that had an undercooked crust. Staff had nothing but excuses for the wait. Didn't even give one of our party a plate to eat off of-ate off of the foil wrap. Not worth the wait.

When we walked in it looked clean and a very nice place. I ordered a sandwich and I was asked what bread I wanted (there was no sign other then the menu that was FLIPPED OVER saying the bread) so I asked her what bread there was and she said on the top of the page and I could find it so I said that and she said in a very rude tone where did you find the sandwich and flipped the page. We sat down and the table was dirty so we told them and they gave us a rag to do it ourselves when we got our food the soup tasted very sour one of the sandwiches was soggy the fries were so undone I could snap them in half and pull the skin off of them We confronted the cashier about it and aShe blamed it on being busy (there was one other person other than us) Overall it was a horrendous experience and would not go back. Just to let y'all know the cashiers name was deann
