June's Donuts & Cafe

I've tried 3-4 times to get here & I've either missed them because I came right after they closed or they sold out before they closed. This morning, I was up early enough to make my way over there with confidence that they were open. I was happy because they were.I got the Strawberry Cake donut. They have an old fashion version of it either, I'll get that version next time (you can count on me to always leave with a cake donut). I enjoy it! The strawberry wasn't super sweet like I'm used to & I liked that. I tried their Jalapeño Cheese Sausage Roll. I couldn't tell what it was by the first look of it, I almost thought it was a special kind of donut. They have a regular version for those who don't enjoy jalapeño peppers. It was good with or without the mustard!!The staff as very nice. They greeted me & took care of me quickly. I ordered some coffee, there was an Espresso blend that was STRONG! This won't be the last time I make my visit here.

This is the same building where Daylight Donuts used to be. It's super easy to recognize since it's an adorable and bright pink building on 11th & Detroit. This is a family owned business and it opened in June 2023. It is named after their dog, an adorable huskey named June. There's a framed photo with the story by the register. The drive-thru at makes its location unique and convenient, especially downtown. One of my favorite things to get are their cinna-bites, which are like cinnamon roll donut holes. They also have Community Coffee available as well as breakfast croissant sandwiches and sausage rolls, all freshly made. The service is super prompt and friendly. Highly recommend supporting this great local owned business.

In between drs appointments we rushed tot his spot for breakfast. You're supposed to get donuts before the dentist, right?! Anyway, the owners are so sweet, prices are great and my daughter won't stop talking about how good these donuts are! She said they melt in your mouth and forced me to try hers lol. There are a few seats and a drive thru in the unassuming spot downtown.
