The worst Mexican restaurant I've ever been in.First, they seated our party at a table underneath an air conditioning vent that constantly dripped water on me. Because of the cramped position of the table in relation to other tables and our table being at full capacity, I couldn't move anywhere to get out of the way of the dripping water.Second, the food had zero flavor. Tasted like they used no seasoning at all.My wife had the chicken fajitas, and she couldn't touch the chicken because of the "weird flavor" that it had. I sampled it, and it tasted like chicken that had been sitting in the refrigerator for a while and had gone past its expiration date but cooked it anyway.Normally at an average Mexican restaurant, you can always fall back on the chips and salsa. Not here. No flavor, no spice, no kick to their salsa at all. More than one person at our table commented how it basically tasted like ketchup.Definitely will be giving this one a pass the next time we go to the lake.

We love Juan Montez beautiful outdoor water front dining patio with a view of the cove and delicious food! A family favorite. Great indoor dining and bar. A must visit for Mexican food with a view!

Food was average nothing to brag about! The skinny margaritas are ridiculously expensive! 12.00 each! I thought I was in Chicago or New York....

I hate to do this but I'm a yelp elite and I have to tell the truth... called today at 4:30 and they said were open and I said we're bringing the boat over with a crew...$$...stormy weather yes , but we brought the boat , the crew , tied up, walked up and got the surprise ..the sign Closed due to flooding!!!I get the hustle in this joint!.., cheap Mexican food and liquor next-door... if the owner wants to respond to me I'm not hard to find...#BigDeal

Second time here. I have got to say best best around! I get the chimichanga every time because it's so good. My boyfriend snd daughter get the enchiladas because they love them so much.

Service is abysmal. Restaurant is "wait to be seated." Unfortunately no one appears to be assigned to the front of the house. Stood for 10 minutes before someone said "hi" but made no effort to direct us to a table or add us to a wait list. We have eaten at this restaurant many times and enjoy the food but it is not worth the effort of dealing with this lackluster attitudes of staff. Do not intend to go back.

Totally gross we had carne asada which was supposed to be a ribeye steak but it was full of gristle. Came with guacamole but it was one spoon of it. The plate was covered with beans who knows how old they were. Finally got more pico & guacamole under asking for it. Guacamole was just some frozen brand. Poor excuse for Mexican!!!
