Joy Donut

The jimmy dean - sausage Patty and cheese inside a sausage roll bread. It was delish. I loved that lil breakfast snack.Had a plain cake donut which was soft and not flaky. I don't care for all the frosting. Waited maybe 5 min for drive thru around 9am so not too bad. And lots of donut options still. Donut holes were big and fluffy and filled the brown bag, my son loved them. Parking is a big tight. But drive thru in and out quickly!

I had the Sausage Roll (with jalapeño), Cinnamon Roll & Apple Fritter with a coffee. The usual that I like to test out to see what Tulsa has to offer from spot to spot. Adding to the list, Joy Donut is definitely visit you need to make. The Cinnamon Roll was incredible. Goes with the coffee. The same goes for the Apple Fritter, a sweet tooth's dream. Had to finished off the Sausage Roll to balance out the sweet with the savory. I caught Joy Donut around 6/6:30am & they were already gradually gaining a crowd. With what they had in-store didn't surprise me why that was happening. I could only imagine what it's like between 7:30-9am.

This place is so darn cute. The donuts are just plain perfect. My sister and I took a stroll over here while we waited for her car to get serviced at a nearby oil change shop. That's right, we planned this trip! I'm sure there are other donut eateries closer to her place but she wanted to take me here. Her "gem" of a donut shop. I'm glad she did too. Did I tell you that the donuts are perfect? Well they are. We ordered a few variations. A frosted christmas tree, strawberry top, blueberry cake and some of their famous "jimmy dean's". We also ordered some kind of ham cheese things but they were all out....dangit, I knew I had missed out. They weren't too far off from closing, probably less than thirty minutes. We ordered coffee so they made us a brand new batch. Great customer service if I do say so myself. It's just a cute little donut shop with seating if you want to stay and peruse the paper. I wish I had Joy Donut back home.

This simply the best maple long John I have ever eaten. It's light and fluffy. Not dense and heavy. They also have the best fried sausage rolls.

This is another locally owned corner donut shop. So far ive only been in once and plan on visiting again. The people behind the counter were super friendly and made it a point to help my 3 year old pick out a donut decorated for kiddos. At the end of the day donuts are usually all about the same but great service carries a lot of weight. The dining area is limited and small but available. There is a drive thru window and take out is always welcome. I like the variety of treats and there are some more hearty options like sausage rolls. They also offer decorated donuts in numbers and letters for custom orders. Seems like a cool idea for a birthday or small event.

YUM!!! The donuts here are inexpensive, good size, and delicious! They have a drive thru, which is great. They have a photo menu along the side of the building, which doesn't help very much when you're ordering at the window but it's nice to see them while you wait in line. The photo menu doesn't have names for each item, but they carry pretty basic donuts. The 'pinecone' is my go to donut. The previous owners (RIP Doughnut Shop) had pinecones only on certain days, and they seriously looked like a pinecone. The new owners have them every day and they're a slightly different shape, but the flavors are still the same. It's like a massive glazed twist donut with cinnamon swirled throughout. That description doesn't even do it justice - trust me, it's delicious!! My coworker orders the chocolate cake donut when she goes there and she loves it. I have only had the pinecone and the chocolate long john - I need to broaden my horizons here but it's hard to switch when I know what I like. I need to go inside one day, maybe seeing different donuts will help me try something new. Here's a note on payment: there is a $5 minimum charge needed to use a debit card. Their donuts are inexpensive, so getting to $5 is difficult unless you order a bunch. Bring cash unless you plan on ordering several.

Joy donuts, is a REAL JOY! located on 51st a 100 yards east of Sheridan road north side across from the Farm shopping center and northeast of Quiktrip.To have my very strict desires to have such magnificent donuts, at a reasonable price, oh me, oh my, Joy is the place!My buddy and I visited early Saturday morning before the magnificent golw of the sun awakening, because of a Facebook posting about the fluffy's; we wasn't disappointed! We ordered a couple of donuts, to my delight after pulling out parking lot about 200 feet, he said go back, we did. Two hours later we were back again, three time in one day, says how marvelous they are. We do not live anywhere close, over 50 away. We are not greedy, we just found Joy. Joy is a donut haven of rest. The donuts are almost as delectable as a wedding night.The staff are very wonderful and the restaurant is CLEAN and refreshing. I have traveled the United States many years for vacations and work.I UNEQUIVOCALLY declare this is one of America's greatest donut restaurants, the gold bar donuts places, please don't deny yourself the plethora's of the pleasures of Joy's place.Bill

The donuts are always fresh and amazing!! You can't go wrong with any of there options. They are always quick and have a smile on their face anytime I come in!

The food is delicious. Joy and her staff are so nice and want to help you. If you know what you want, the drive thru is very convenient. The place is clean and inviting.

Great donuts, sausage rolls, etc. JUST a heads up, if you place a peorder for pickup ..it won't be ready when you get there. Been through this several times with them and always have to wait 20 minutes or so before my order is ready.
