Joses Mexican Resturant

Found this hole in the wall mom and pop shop randomly in Muskogee, OK and let me tell you, I'm so glad I stopped in. The staff was nice and friendly. The food was amazing. I hate that I keep finding great taco places in random Oklahoma small towns versus where I live. Either way, back to the food. The menu was small but everything was great and they even added queso fresco to my tacos which is what set them apart. Most restaurants to carry it so it made a huge difference for me. I will definitely be returning to this place without a doubt. See you in about 2 weeks. :)

Jose's is elite authentic Mexican cuisine. I ate at the Tahlequah location all through college, and screamed for joy when the Muskogee location opened. It's incredibly affordable and made so fresh. The staff is always nice. The restaurant is cute inside, and it's conveniently located. Parking can be tough when they get really busy at lunch. They have a lot behind, but it's only a few spots like the front. I've never had any food that I didn't love. Best guacamole in town. Jose's and Tacos La Tia are tied for me on best tacos in town. I love love love both. Try every meat choice! The sopes are my favorite thing to get!

Having had tacos in Los Angeles, this place is one of my all time favorites. I find myself craving Joses. The tacos aren't greasy at all. The meat is super tender. I can usually put down 4 barbacoa tacos. I've had the other meat options but found myself liking the barbacoa the most. The horchata was also decent. It wasn't grainy like some other places.

Jose's is the best. The food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean

The food is authentic Mexican food. I really liked the aguas frescas, and the guy in front was sweet. Would return and recommend.

Some of the best authentic Mexican food you will ever eat! The tacos are delicious, any meat you choose, as well as the burritos. Chips and white queso top it off.

So glad my friend found this place. The absolute best guacamole you can buy anywhere. The tacos are amazing too.
