So, part of my love of Jim's is nostalgia - I went there a lot growing up, so it brings back good memories. Even without that nostalgia, though, Jim's stands on its own as a great place. It's a little hole-in-the-wall place tucked in the Ozark Mountains with a lot of high school spirit adorning the walls. The restaurant has gone through a few updates over the decades to freshen up the interior and add a few menu items, but it has stayed true to its character, even when the restaurant changed hands.If you are on a diet, this is not the place to go. You're going to get a lot of fried foods, a lot of desserts, and a dose of grease. It's SO FRIGGIN DELICIOUS, though. I'm a big fan of the banana milkshakes - they have several varieties of shake beyond your standard chocolate/vanilla/strawberry. Beyond that, you've got your standard rural midsouth type menu - burger variations, taco variations, fried sides, lots of things that can be covered in cheese.Jim's is an order-at-the-counter type establishment, though you can walk up and order at the window. Be aware that Jim's is not a drive thru.I don't get to Green Forest that often, but when I do, I make sure to stop by Jim's. Great place to stop if you're in the area.

Great place to stop for fries and ice cream! The burgers smelled good but they will probably include a big load of calories! They have several people ready to take orders and they start preparing the meals right away. They bring the food out to you and it's quick. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a place to eat some yummy fried food.

If you want a quick bite and just passing through this is definitely a place to hit on your way. Friendly owners and they hire good staff. A lot of high schoolers so not the fastest service but you have to start somewhere. Great prices so you aren't overly paying. Taco Tuesday's are also awesome, how they don't lose money is beyond me lol

Doesn't look like much but I really enjoyed the old time feel and the food was simple but delicious!! I got mozzarella sticks that were amazing and a choco shake! My mom got the grilled cheese and a Dr. Pepper. We were traveling with a dog, so it was nice to be able to order at the window and have the food brought out to the car. There's a Sonic down the street, but I'd much rather support this small, local business!

No inside seating at this time but plenty of external tables. Great variety of food and everything we had was terrific. Service was exceptional.

Have eaten there for years. Moved away, moved back. Finding the best burgers around is a thing for me and hands down Jim's is without question the absolute best. The pizza burger and Cheddar balls are great too!Don't ever change Jim's and thanks for the delicious food and always at a really great price!
