The taco box has like 25 tacos for $40. Totally worth it. It comes with condiments, and tubs of sauces. Great for dinner with the family.

Indios Verdes Restaurant "La Casa De Las Tlayudas" How long has it been since you had a big 'ol Tlayuda? Well, that's too long!Huh? What's a Tlayuda? It is a large, very large crunchy flour tortilla grilled to a slight char. You can smell, see, and taste the char of the flour tortilla. Yes, on purpose. This one filled an 18" aluminum pizza pan. The charred tortilla was covered with refried black beans, sliced cabbage, avocado, tomato slices, and a grilled serrano. Mine ordered with chopped grilled chicken. It was also supposed to have, Oaxaca cheese, carrot and onion; all missing! Something went wrong in the kitchen.....This the lightest, healthiest Mexican dish I have ever had. As you would expect, light, healthy means bland. And it was. The missing ingredients made it even blander. Salsa to the rescue! Indios Verdes has very good salsa. The tasty red that comes with the chips, and the plastic squirt bottles of red and green that are a staple of authentic Mexican restaurants. A liberal application of all, was necessary to give my taste buds something to do. Not a top choice for a diner with a palate tuned for OkieMex. You don't know until you try it! Now you know!My wife went with the Wet Burrito. A large flour tortilla filled with beans, rice, steak and oddly, lettuce; not mentioned on the menu. The very grislily chopped steak was unseasoned. Tasteless and chewy. Except for the very good authentic red sauce, the burrito was disappointing. So much so, that my wife gave up on the burrito to help me with my salsa covered Tlayudas. The service was excellent. Only one friendly young lady with a beautiful smile was doing everything; cooking and serving us while prepping ingredients for the restaurant's evening dinner meal. Her other duties may have contributed to the missing ingredients on the Tlayuda. Next time your cousin from California starts shooting their mouth off about their "Authentic Cali Mexican Food" just ask them, "What's the biggest Tlayuda that they have ever had?"

A Taco Tuesday option for sure! We had their special, which is 24 tacos for $28 ($1.17/taco) on Tuesday, $36 ($1.50/taco)the rest of the week. First time we ate here it was served on a platter, second time it was served in a pizza box. SThe crazy box, as it was called, also included chips and salsa, pickled onion and carrot, radish, grilled onions and limes. This DOES NOT include drinks. You choose your meat, we did half carne asada and half carnitas. Tacos were good and fresh, and if you have 4 hungry people, this is a good deal.We ate inside, and they have a nice clean eating area, fountain drinks, refrigeratedbottles and a couple of TV's playingLatino stations. There is also a food truck across the parking lot that serves the same menu as the brick and mortar shop. One caveat, the lady working behind the counter and didn't speak English and struggled to communicate with us. Drinks aren't a bargain...so drink water or be prepared to pay.

Taco Tuesday will never be the same thanks to Indios Verdes. What drew me to the restaurant is actually their big yellow taco truck that stands out on the street. I pulled up there to try some of their street tacos. Because on Tuesdays all of their tacos are $1. Then I saw an advert for 24 tacos for $24 with chips & salsa & thought, Go Big or Go Home. So I walked up to order it and they directed me to the restaurant across the parking lot to place such a big order. It took me a second to realize that I was being directed over there because the cashier spoke broken English. But after a brief game of charades we figured it out. I walked in & the lady was kind & spoke clear English. The restaurant was clean & inviting. I ordered the big taco platter and a XL side of rice & beans. My grand total was $30.I'm all about price & portion, and this deal blew my socks off. When I got home my tacos were still warm & ready for consumption. And oh, were they delicious. They were good on their own merit, but the fact that they were $1 each made them thaaaat more delicious. Taco Tuesday's is Lit!

Love this place. Great food. Great service. Great prices. It's just as good as the taco trucks owned by the same people.

Great breakfast burrito. A substantial language barrier, though. Because of this, I had to do some pointing. What I got was great, but I think the language barrier prevented me from being clear on what I wanted in the burrito. I'll be back, though and will use Google translate next time. I definitely recommend it.

Taco Box is the best deal ever! 24 excellent tacos, chips and salsa for 30$. Haven't been in the actual restaurant, a coworker bought it, but if food is good, I'll give 5 stars.

We order take-out from the Taco Truck all the time, however the expanded menu and greater diversity of the restaurant is quickly overtaking it. Today, I ordered the Pollo Tamales, and Queso Chili Rellano. Topping the Chilies with the house red sauce, mozzarella cheese and eating it with the rice. It's delicious. It's more on the Traditional Mexican food side than Americanized Tex-Mex, so it'll doubtfully be readily on the palate of a typical American audience. Regardless of that factoid, the food is really good. The Pastor Tacos are the same amazing pork roasted with pineapple and onion. Not only is this an experience; It's taste is so incredibly satisfying.

I love this place soooooooo much. There food is amazing. They have great service and the lady that assisted us was really nice but she messed up on a drink. It's pretty normal to forget a drink so I don't blame her. I recommend you to come her.
