I really liked this comic shop. It's super small like most of them here but the guy was really friendly and helped me find the Zatanna comics ive been searching ages for. The prices were fair and everything was extremely organized and well displayed. Very clean and fresh feeling store as well. Hope more people find and positively review this place, comic stores need more love.

Don't order anything online from them. I ordered BCW Comic Book Bin from them and I thought I was getting a good deal. Turns out I was completely wrong. Shipping is not included in your purchase. You have to do a separate order for shipping through PayPal and if you want a refund, it wouldn't get approved if you tried. I understand the shipping for the item is pricey, but the least they could do is wrap it in a bag if they couldn't find a box the same size or at least tape it all around. When I received the item it was open and missing half the product. I understand FedEx is at fault as well for the mishandling, but this could have been prevented. I helped run a small business and I have never sent an item in it's original packaging. I didn't end up shipping the item back because it cost to ship the item just as much as I paid for it. They can keep the money, apparently they need it more than I do for packaging supplies. They are probably good guys because most Comic people are but business wise, this is unprofessional.

I was attempting to order a few items off their website, and when trying to hit pay, the information I submitted vanished from the fields. Twice. When attempting to call to notify this store of the problem, a completely different business answered. The person who answered explained that she had been trying to correct the number on Yelp for some time and this store owner has declind to do so. I called the yelp number again just to make sure the number on YELP was correct. The other business answered again. With these two issues. I will not be placing my order. 2 Stars for a nice website.

Here is the response i got from the "store" after requesting a refund after they failed to fill a pre order"Hi Timothy,You will be receiving your order from us as soon as possible. Games Workshop did unfortunately determine the production run for the Stompa Boyz set prior to finalizing retailer orders, and they vastly underestimated demand. This means they did not initially make enough to fill those retailer orders. However, that is just a temporary problem. Like most retailers, we have been temporarily shorted on the Stompa Boyz Battle Force set. Games Workshop has already commissioned a second production wave for it though, which became available for retailers to order from last Friday. We placed an order for those early Friday morning. We did receive some last week in time for the intended release on Saturday which we have already shipped to the earliest orders that we received, just to be fair. For the orders that we unfortunately do not initially receive enough for, we'll be sending them out as soon as the second production wave is shipped to us. That may cause a couple week delay, but we will absolutely be filling all of our preorders in the end. I hope that helps!Thanks,Connor"Games workshop never reissues or reprints battleforces ever.

Great selection. Clean comics, clean toys and a very clean store. I got great service from everyone except the owner sadly. His Variant cover are EXTREMELY over priced. It checked value itself. Value should be thumbs down . So you're much better ordering online from Midtown or going to 11th and Yale @ Mammoth and asking for Sean. He's reasonably priced on all comics, especially Variants, but his store needs a makeover and can be a mess, but he'll grab it for ya. Much better owner than this asshat. Who's been nothing but rude to me on more than 1 occasion and loves talking down to his employees. It sucks because when I was buying regular A covers and dealing with his employees it was going great. And I'm not an average customer. I would spend $100-200 every time I came in. Haven't been there in 2 years and not going back until it's got a new owner. This guy tried making me pay for a Spider-Man PVC figure he said he had mailed to me! When I chose store pickup like I did on ALL my items because I want to see them 1st. But he , supposedly, had it sent to me, because the shipping was cheaper for him... And never ONCE told me he was doing this, next thing I know I'm getting called months after I should've gotten the figure in at the store and he's DEMANDING I make a payment!! Lol. For something I never received?! I lived in an apt complex at the time and I was never notified of a package for me and I never knew to look for 1 because I wasn't expecting it to come to me. He then had the nerves to call me a THIEF and threatened to even call the police!! I told him please, go ahead, I'm sure the cops would get a nice laugh out of you saying I stole something that you chose to send to me without payment. Yes Read it again and try to make it make sense!! Only reason you got 2 stars is because his employees were great and it's a very clean store!! That's it!!! GoodbyeUpdate*** No sir. It was definitely you, Dan. And I kept some of those 2019 emails from your store, one was from you personally... And it reminded me of another argument me and you had about the comics you were holding for me under the 'cash in store payment option'. I remember calling the store and specifically talking to you about this. Because you cut me off from placing anymore on hold saying the option was for people who are gonna pay in 1 week. Although I had been doing that for years because I liked and preferred to buy in bulk, so I'd wait until I got close to or over $100 and then I'd come in and pick them up. I tried telling you that and you weren't listening and said if I was doing that it was no longer gonna happen and you were going to have a talk with your employees. You then sent me a huge bill on PayPal for almost $200 that didn't reflect the only $40-50 dollars of comics I had waiting on me at the store. Too lose a customer that always came in and paid for his comics, regardless of how long they were held, because nowhere online did it say I needed to pick them up within 1 week nor did ANY employee tell me that, EVER. And that's why I now have all my subs through Mammoth because their owner Sean, is friendly and doesn't mine holding them for a month or 2 because I like spending over $100 at a time and buying in bulk. You don't understand customers like me because I don't read the comics, I buy them for the cover art. Which is also why I don't pay for any of your overprice variants when I can order from Midtown the EXACT same book, shipped to me for free, just gotta order over $75 worth, bagged and boarded and in better shape than yours that have been picked through and they have a better selection. I know, they're a bigger and better store so they buy in bulk too, so they get me. The fact that you think I've confused you with another store and that you're on here lying is quite baffling. I honestly thought you'd accuse me of stealing that Spider-Man. Yes. I bought and paid for 1. That's not the only 1 I've bought from your store. That was the 3rd I ordered. I also bought the $100 1:12 from y'all and the Spider-Man webbing Diorama. I have the boxes as well. Maybe it wasn't y'all that mailed me the Iron Spider PVC for free and then accuses me of stealing. I guess it was Dan the employee 3rd UPDATE****Actually... I JUST found the emails and they WERE sent by you and I thought you accused me of all this on a phone call... So if you'd like Danny I can show you and everyone else on this app how rude you are to loyal customers who up until this, paid every bill. But you got on this app and showed your smug ass again!! So I think I will screenshot the emails that you signed personally with your name and you even say it's not on the 'in store staff' on shipped orders but on this review you wanna try to blame an employee. You never thought I'd have kept the emails you sent me over 3 years ago!
