Dr Carrie is the best vet we've ever been to! She's kind and patient as well as incredibly knowledgeable. He staff is helpful and friendly and she's always got time to make sure our questions are answered and to make sure our pets are comfortable! She cares about her patients, our pets, the same way we do!

I love this vet!! I've been to different vets over the past 2 years for my cat, getting different answers and misdiagnoses. It was my first time here last month, and they immediately sensed something was very wrong with my kitty and dug deep to find the root cause and I finally got a REAL answer. Not only to mention the entire staff was extremely sweet and very inviting. (Such a breath of fresh air) Additionally, they were pretty reasonable with pricing when it came time to his surgery. Definitely recommend this vet to anyone!

Here's what matters to me when it comes to my dogs' medical care-knowledge, respect, and quality care. Horizon delivered on all counts. Sure, I prefer not to sell a car to pay for the care, and the care being delivered in a spa like setting is nice, too, but if I wanted free medical care and a spa, it's possible I should trade my active Blue Heelers in for a stuffed toy and go spend the day in a spa. (Horizon does smell like animals, nobody offered me a latte, and pricing is industry normed)PS. Yes, a pig wanders around but I love a vet who loves animals, so this is a WIN. (As a city girl transplanted into a small town, i was anxious about the pig, so a staff person quietly guided her to another area without making me feel like an idiot and, most importantly, with care for the pig)

We have used them for over 6 years however the last 2 or 3 we noticed significant increases in the charges. My last 3 visits including today's I have called to get the price ahead of time. The price quoted over the phone has been between $60 and $100 less than the actual bill. When I questioned it today all I was told is it was well over $200 and they gave me discounts to get it down to $182.62. Quote over the phone was $118.00. They had full knowledge of all services my dog needed at the time of phone call. I am in sales and if I went around quoting my customers $118 and invoicing them for $182 I would not have a job for very long and my company couldn't keep their doors open. BAD way of doing business and not appreciated!

You can tell that the staff loves animals, and are super friendly. Dr. Cari McDonald has fantastic bedside manor and even got on the floor to exam my nervous dog. Prices are reasonable and there were no surprises. They also have a beau coup of other animals that live at the clinic including a mini pig named Buttercup.

They are the best! Thanks Dr. McDonald and staff! They rescued Daisy from the streets starving and sick and she has been the best dog ever!! Daisy and her Dad Wade!!

We've always had a great experience at Horizon!! The staff is so kind and knowledgeable, and they always take such good care of my dog! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet in the Tulsa/Bixby area! (:

Again the best care & great Dr. Cari & staff following safe COVID preventative measures. No added EXTRA costs or fees for curbside check in. I appreciate that very much. Dr. Cari is a great vet & truly listens & cares about my 2 babies. She is fair with pricing. Her staff is friendly & helpful. It's a what you see is what you get , open & honest, I am relatively new to S. Tulsa , Bixby & have been going to Horizon since my Groomer @ Glamour Paws on Sheridan , highly recommended. I love the staff , they are kind & friendly & really care. Thank you all. Buttercup, the pet office pig is a symbol of the love for all animals big & small. Dr. MacDonald is a superlative vet & April is a superlative vet tech . Everyone that works here loves & adores all kinds of animals . They are all kind , compassionate & made me & my dog Emma feel welcome & comfortable from her 1st visit. Horizon is one of Emma's favorite places to go . It's right up there with going to the dog park ! Emma starts whining , from excitement , about 2-3 miles before we get there . Whether its your 1st pet or you are thinking about changing your vet , you will be delighted when you come to Horizon .

Dr. Cari is an outstanding veterinarian . She is very compassionate , empathetic & knowledgeable . Her staff is very warm & welcoming . Dr. Cari's prices are very fair . My dog loves going there . Emma , my dog , starts whining about a mile before we get there out of excitement . Its one of Emma's favorite places to go !!!
