We had the fried Portabellamushrooms and boudain eggrolls for appetizers. Both were amazing! For dinner, hubby had the 16 oz ribeye steak with a fully loaded baked potato & cole slaw. The steak was prepared perfectly and the potato was exceptionally full of cheese, and a lot of bacon. The coleslaw was exceptional! I had the fried shrimp, french fries, and coleslaw. The french fries were fresh cut and prepared on site. The rolls were fresh and tasted homemade. The owner and staff are very friendly. It's a local hang out, so you know it is a great place to go!

I used Yelp to help me find a close by restaurant for an early dinner before an outing in Branson. This restaurant had great reviews and was only 9 minutes from my cabin. The Hog House is a small restaurant/bar, easy to get too with a friendly, helpful staff. The menu, while not extensive, offered a good variety of choices. So while our menu sampling was limited to a taco salad and a hamburger with fries, both were prepared perfectly and were very tasty. Also, the beer on tap was cold and fresh! This was an early dinner since we needed to make a 7:30 show in Branson. The Hog House delivered for us and I think they would do the same for anyone else as well. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed!

Follow up review here. Taco Tuesday and wow what a deal! Only a $1.00 per taco. They are regular size tacos, not small street ones, and your choice of beef or chicken and soft or hard shell. Tacos are full and very yummy! Service is very good. Looking forward to next Tuesday!

This place is awesome!! They have Appetizers, Breakfast, Burgers, Sandwiches, Pizza, Chicken or Steak or Shrimp or Pulled pork dinner plates, and Beer!!! So far have eaten here twice and have had the Fried Mushrooms both time, had the Hog House Nachos, The Hangover Burger, the Fried Chicken and the Club Sandwich !!! ALL WAS GREAT!!!
