Kitchenette. Not sure if the stove is actually functioning or just for decorative use.
Other end of kitchen. Silverware, coffee, toaster, etc in cabinet

Last minute decided to stay the night while visiting Pawhuska. We were pretty pleased with our room. Definitely has a historic feel to it. Loved the theme and all the cute furniture. Clean and tidy. Would definitely stay again.

I just can't agree with the 5 star folks. We stayed for 1 night. I understand the history piece of the hotel, but it just felt cold and unloved. The bed was uncomfortable, sheets were scratchy. We didn't have a bathmat anywhere so we had to use a bigger towel. We ran into an older man who has a shop below and he said he wished he could see the hotel as he knew all the rich history but hadn't seen any of the updated rooms. Also, a card on the tv stand indicated that if there were any issues while we were there it could take up to an hour for someone to show- that didn't seem safe to us. On a positive note, the hotel was super close to everything and had a great patio outside. Would I stay again, no. Would I encourage others to stay somewhere else- also no, it was an experience, just not the best stay of our 3 week trip. Maybe others will really like it like the 5 star folks.

The hotel was listed on Priceline as 5 star. It isn't even one star. We have stayed in many rehabilitated and repurposed older hotels that are fantastic. But, this one......nope. It is priced like a 5 star hotel in this small Eastern Oklahoma town, but it just doesn't measure up by any standard. The only positive is the location within a couple of blocks of the center of the city. But, it is dirty, outdated, and , quite frankly, a dump. We couldn't wait to leave.

While this is a cute quaint old apartment building that's been given new life and the balcony is a great place to overlook the town, don't be fooled that the rooms advertised as accommodating 3 adults actually do that. It's a king sized bed and a tiny live seat, that's it. We mistakenly thought the loveseat was a hideaway bed but it isn't. Unless your third person is under 3'5", they cannot sleep there. We called and they said they could bring us a rollaway bed but that was an additional charge. Of course we were willing to pay it because what adult can sleep on a tiny loveseat and get any kind of rest? I don't know how it is determined what a room will accommodate when they advertise that one room is for two and another is for three (because we purposely picked one of the few rooms for three to accommodate our group of three), if it's not by the number of places one can actually sleep.
