The food here is always tasty. I love their fajitas. The lunch specials are big and priced right. They have plenty of salsas upon request. Service was excellent. This restaurant smells like a gas station bathroom. The mural on the wall is very unique.

It's okay. If you dine inside. If you order pick up, they will ignore any simple requests. For example; i simply requested relish for my order. There were exactly 2 tables eating in house when I picked up my own order. Somehow a very simple request for relish was ignored. Hidalgo's is a great restaurant. Which leaves me wondering why they ignored a very simple requested (charge me extra, I never cared). I can't provide a photo of nothing given.

For my large group of 12 it served us well and overall everyone was pleased. Mexican is great for young & old alike. My four grandsons definitely enjoyed the Chips & Queso along with the tortilla's. Two out of the four went with chicken strips which is okay as long as they were happy! The other two went with Chicken Quesadilla's!As for me I chose the Chicken Tortilla Soup; which I would not recommend. It was served in a large bowl but it was deceiving and the bowl was not actually deep. The temperature was mildly warm which means it either sat, but not under a heat lamp or it was in a pot not even kept warm. Either way I was disappointed! Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals with no complaints and lots of . . . it was very good! This was a great choice for the family.We had a great server and he was on top of everything the entire meal! Sadly I do not recall his name but he did a great job!It had been a while since I've dined here so maybe it was just the soup that was off. I would still recommend trying this place out.

The food and service here was very good. I actually would love to go back. I'm hardly in Edmond or Norman so that sucks. It was my first time at this restaurant. I love that we got a complementary setup and the salsa or relish came with a scoop of guacamole and it was very delicious. I got the sampler and I wasn't crazy about it the flauta was very dry. I loved my steak quesadilla and the nachos. Great vibes.

As far as good Tex-Mex, this place is probably the best in Edmond. Margaritas are tasty and food is tasty. The service is always quick. The inside could use a refresh but not too bad. If weather permits, I prefer to sit on the patio.

Immediate pros to the place is that they make their own tortillas - fresh off the press and nice and warm when it gets to you. They're generous with the chips and salsa so that's nice too. The food however, was just alright. I got some tamales and the tamal was pretty dry, and this is after being doused in chilli and cheese too. I got it with a side of rice and grilled veges and out of the whole plate, I'd say the grilled veges was the best part of the meal. So don't really know if it was worth the money. Hubby got a burrito too and comments were the same, food was just okay. Staff were pretty nice and the place looks alright too. Probably would be an alright place for a work lunch or just a nice hang out.

Really good service, good food selection, and complimentary all you can eat salsa, queso, chips, and tortillas. I ordered the new spicy potato appetizer with steak and also the new build your own bowl with fajita chicken meat. Everything tasted fully cooked and prepared well. I love how their water cups are huge so, you never run out of water. The portion sizes are ginormous, and the food tasted fresh. I liked that they gave me a perfect avocado instead of an old oxidized one. Service was also fast and efficient. Food came out quick for lunch time. They have a good amount of options for kids too as well as tons of specialty margaritas. Next time I'll definitely have to bring the kids here and try a margarita for dinner. One complaint, no Tabasco but they had Valentino sauce which wasn't spicy at all for me. I wanted actual spice in the foods, and nothing was spicy, and they didn't have any spicy sauces so, I hope in the future they can offer some spicy hot sauces for us who enjoy spicy foods.

Went again. The food is even more flavorless and bland than my last visit a year ago. I got the carne asada street taco meal. WTH was that?! The "meat" was 1/2 cup of these weird tiny diced brown objects with no seasoning. They give you a yellow sauce on the side which is supposed to be cheese sauce. It bears no resemblance to or taste of cheese. With Oklahoma being so close to Texas, you would think the Mexican food here would be good. I spent over $30 for my food and after I ate it I was just mad!

The experience was almost perfect! Damien W. Was our server and did a great job despite the loud disrespectful table we were sat next to that were absolutely awful to him.
