Heros Subs & Burgers

I ordered mine sans lettuce and tomato.The pita was pillow soft with just enough chew. The meat was tender mildly spiced. The sauce was copious but could have been thicker. The Tziki was mild and creamyI had to add salt to the fries but otherwise they were good, textbook fries, home made but soft.The cost was not cheap but 7.50 for a meal is about right for the quality you get.I would definitely come back here... hole in the wall but worth the stop.The rest of the food looked and smelled good I will be back to try other dishes.

This is about the Heroes Sub @ Pine & Mingo, Tulsa ok.Date of incident- 11/21/22 @ 3pmMy husband & I ate lunch there on Monday around 3pm. He got a potato & I got the Monday special. I got food poisoning from that sandwich. I was so sick I had to go to the hospital by ambulance around 2:30am. I spent 12 hours there, had blood drawn twice, received 2 bags of IV fluids over an 8 hour period, they thought I had contracted sepsis! My heart was racing, & I couldn't stand on my own. I had to have a CT scan to find out more details as to why my heart was racing, & now I'll have hospital bills to pay all because that sandwich gave me food poisoning. It was the only food I ate that day. I'm home now, but struggling to get back to normal. We probably won't ever eat there again, & I'm telling everyone I know to avoid eating there, too.

I love this place. Great food. Wide variety of options. Friendly service. I'll keep coming back. If you're picky and spoonfed don't come here it's to good for you.

The menu is massive, the portions are amazing, qnd the flavor is phenomenal. Glad I Googled reviews on this place first. It definitely liked up to its name.

Ummm. It's not badddd. I just don't enjoy a mouthful of vinegar every time I bite into my sub but sadly, that was my lunch experience. But hey! My colon never looked better.

When I see my sandwich go into the microwave, I know that this will not be a very good meal. Today, I ordered the Ruben foot-long sub at this establishment. It came with everything a Ruben should come with but had more of one thing and not enough of the other. After ordering this sandwich, I watched one of the ladies make it. I was excited until I saw her put the sandwich in the microwave The sandwich was hot but the bread was rubbery, the filling consisted of 75% sauerkraut 15% cheese and 10% corn beef. The corn beef was dry and the only thing that helped was that the sauerkraut was pretty good. I may go back and give this place another try. Perhaps a burger?

Good sized portions at a good value.I got a 1/3rd pound cheeseburger, fries, and a drink for $6.50! It was delicious and filling.Plus the staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be stopping back through here.Tip: add the jalapeño paste to your burger. Yum!

Everything is good! My personal favorites are the 3 cheese and avocado sub and the meatball sub. The French fries are perfection, IMO.

Best sandwich shop with the best people! After flying into Tulsa, we came across this restaurant for lunch and it was so good. Small hometown store with the best home made sandwiches! I got the large hero sandwich and my friend got a sandwich and spud. The cookies were given to us for free (the nicest workers!!!) highly recommend this place for the food and the people

I ordered a Philly steak sandwich and it was mayonnaise and lettuce on a roll, very little meat, if any.It was disgusting and the fries were not cooked all the way.Will never be back.The ceiling is stained and nasty, the whole place looks neglected.
