Been here multiple times before on First Fridays. We wandered through admiring the exhibit and then I paused to read the artists' bio. OMG! I know her! You must stop in and see Liminality Egressed by Savannah Walton. (She's an MFA candidate.) Truly amazing space and Walton fills it with exquisite and provocative art.

This is my favorite gallery compared to 108 Contemporary & Philbrook. They had a lot of artwork that spoke on issues we're going through today in America. Powerful. Live music was playing indoors along with drinks being served. Nice area, just packed due to First Friday Art Crawl. Definitely could see myself becoming a regular here.

"It looks like they took a bunch of student artwork from TU's wood carving class and put it on display."Pretty much...but only because the current art on display is wood carving and letterpress - don't worry - neither from TU students. The art itself was eh. I can't wait until they get...better art. The space, however, was pretty cool. Walk up a tiny stairwell & past the main desk into a lounge & bar. Both were empty when we went, but every 3rd Thursday they have Jazz Happy Hour with a cash bar. They also offer art classes for kids and adults, as well as lunch lectures.

I've been to the Zarrow Center several times for first Friday as well as visiting at other (less crowded) times. It is a nice gallery with food and drinks on occasion. They also hosted the start of the Bloomsday celebration in Tulsa a few days ago. If you haven't been (or haven't been in a while), I'd recommend checking out this gallery. If you do go on a First Friday, make sure it's early or you will be amongst a large crowd.

Changing exhibits for First Friday Art Crawl. Always snacks, music, full bar by TU catering. Laid back, fun.
