Hubby bought me a ring for Valentine's Day years ago and bought the warranty. With the warranty, you have to take it back every 6 months to get it cleaned and checked. If you miss just one visit it is null and void. Friendly employees and just beautiful store.

There is this lovely young woman by the name of Amy who works at the Helzberg Diamonds inside Quail Springs Mall. She is the bee's knees. I would trust her opinion above most if not all of the people I've dealt with in this city as far as diamonds are concerned.[1] Furthermore, she is incredibly helpful, going above and beyond what's expected, even when she was well aware that I bought my engagement ring elsewhere. If I could do it again, I wouldn't because buying an engagement ring was the most stressful purchase I have ever made in my relatively short existence. But if I was forced to do it again, I would go to Amy. Bonus: They have GIA and AGS certified diamonds. That could either mean something or nothing to you. Also, their prices are standard when compared to other similar establishments particularly in the mall (that is to say, the prices are kind of high but to be expected for places with higher overhead), but the fact that they carry GIA and AGS diamonds would make them better than some of the others I've frequented in this city. I think either Kay or Zales (can't remember which) uses some other certifications that are about as valuable as the paper it's printed on. Helzberg is sometimes even better than some of the mom and pop places that claim to have the most competitive prices. Sometimes. If you really look into it, there are places where you can find better deals, but you may not get to deal with a wonderful person like Amy. Helzberg is kind of a [*][*] or [*][*][*] establishment though as far as pricing is concerned.[1]Note: I have dealt with so many people in my obsessive search for the that elusive diamond that meets all of my specifications, so she's not like first in a list of three people or something. She's first in a list of fifteen.

The Manager-Brittany Holloway offered ZERO resolution to a defective clasp on a diamond bracelet that was a gift from my husband for Christmas. Brittany's response, "I am sorry there is NOTHING we can do" I now have a diamond bracelet that I will never be able to wear again.

I went to Helzberg to purchase a new watch for myself, I had recently purchased a diamond wedding band for my wife and was happy with that purchase. I picked out a Gucci watch total purchase of 856.16. The staff was helpful and did adjust the band and I wore the watch home. I found the same watch on amazon for 293.66 cheaper. I purchased it and went to return the one from Herzberg. I had not worn the watch except the day of purchase for an on the way home and I was told since I wore it out of the building it couldn't be returned. I understand that Helzberg has its polices and I would never argue that. But when I returned home and read the policy on the back of the receipt (which was contently stuffed in the bag) it does make not that if a watch is worn it cant be returned and to see Watch Assurance Plan which I was never given. Overall it is my fault for not researching the price at other companies, I just expected more from a company such as Helzberg. I am very disappointed. So needless to say I wont do business with Helzberg again. The staff was polite the entire time of the purchase. The issue is the policy and the obvious over pricing of products.
