Great event if you like checking out local shops and trying new food items from food trucks. Great for family and friends to support local businesses.

Lots of food trucks, good music, young people everywhere, dog friendly (though one of my kids stepped in dog shiz right in the street, so that last one goes both ways). As a festive destination, Broadway in Edmond is just okay. It could use more restaurants/lounges/bars and trendy stores. But it does bring most of the better food trucks in for this monthly summer event. And various local bands rock the stage from 6-10 pm. I do wish it went later, midnight would be perfect. And with more beer and booze vendors for adults. I wonder if this monthly event wouldn't be better served in a nearby park where more people can be accommodated more comfortably. Be sure to bring your camp chairs, the stage is in an empty parking lot :/P.s. Norman's Riverwind Casino does a very similar (but even better) monthly food truck & music event, Beats & Bites. Adds bouncy houses for kids, concert style seating and better parking. Bands are world famous but trend more to middle-aged patrons (or old souls like myself). 80's greats The Romantics played just two weeks ago!!! Hello! "What I Like About You" "Talking In Your Sleep"! (Ahhhhh!!) All free of charge. With casino gambling just across the parking lot, and the same caliber food trucks, sorry Edmond, but they got ya beat.

Really nice Saturday evening event here in Edmond. This was our first time going and we plan on coming back as often as possible. Music was good, and the food was even better! From what I could tell there were atleast 17-20 food trucks offering everything from pizza, burgers, BBQ, tacos, wings, desserts... As well as local breweries. There are also a few local shops, but that's not totaled away from the establishment restaurant and shops on the streets such as Othello's or The Zu sports bar and grill. I would recommend bringing lawn chairs and staking a claim on a spot to sit before 6, though.

I love heard on Hurd. It's our favorite time of each month. We live the March and April and September and October ones. The weather is always perfect. In May through August it just gets way too hot. But it's an amazing time. Either go right when it starts or wait to eat Until after 8pm because lines get crazy long.We like to take an Uber and head to the Patriarch after for continued fun!

This is easily our favorite Edmond event!!! If you love food and even more so--food trucks, then you'll be in heaven! While it's definitely crowded and some of the lines can get wild, it is absolutely worth your time! We put all the dates for this in our phone calendars so we never miss! Highly recommend!

First time to Heard on Hurd was a great time! Food trucks and music. And People! Lots and lots of people. All your favorite food trucks are right here. The problem is which one to choose. Expect long lines. Parking can get a little tricky since they close down some of the streets. Something for everyone!

Absolutely awesome street festival in downtown Edmond every 3rd Saturday from March ish - October ish. Parking-well Edmond has no shortage of parking, but Broadway (and some associated side lots) will be shut down for the event and the side streets can be deceptive-there is an active railroad track a block or so from Broadway making a loop around more complicated then you'd think. You will be best served by diverting to a side street and parking when/where you find a spot. Anything by the downtown farmers market/edmond festival marketplace will be perfect. The event itself is filled with win. It's a mix of a food truck, music, pop up shopping, art walk, and pub crawl. There will be a block or two of highly popular food trucks-expect a small to significant line, music of varying quality, some eclectic local pop up shopping and in general more awesomeness then you'd think edmond would be capable of generating. There will be a few (two) oklahoma wine/beer stands for those so inclined, otherwise all the restaurants and pubs downtown will be all open. The on Broadway restaurants provide a nice contrast to the street food, but planning ahead of time will prevent you from a long table wait. Early birds will be rewarded is what I'm sayin. Like most outdoor events bringing your own seating is a good idea unless you desire the true street food experience of crouching on the curb. The music section is totally free and fun, and that's where the children's activities will be located. There is nothing in Edmond that will be more worth your time on a Saturday night regardless if you are with a family group or a party of one. It's a real hoot for sure.

I starting going to Heard on Hurd (HoH) last year but this review is about the most recent one which happened to be the first one of 2017. HoH is an event thrown by Citizen's Bank of Edmond. I have always had a good time at each event I've been to and this time was no different.A friend of mine came in town and I was excited to show them an event like this which makes Edmond so unique. The event runs from 6pm to 10pm every 3rd Saturday from March - October and we arrived around 7-ish. Parking was extremely easy to find, which was a huge plus. The sheer amount of things that are available to do at HoH is pretty amazing. There are food trucks with every style of cuisine you could desire! The chicken & waffles and Snow cone and Smore food trucks are always a hit so the lines may be longer there. In addition to the food trucks, there are other vendors as well who sell clothing items. You can find people enjoying their food purchases anywhere along the streets and also by the stage where a live band is playing! HoH provides a great environment and a diverse crowd of people of varying ages who come out to celebrate their love of food.

Aw, hello, tiny lil' H&8th. I sure hope you don't grow too big for your britches, too!Okay, so Heard on Hurd is nice. It's small, there's plenty of parking (and a nice lack of HURRDURRNO PARKING HERE FOR THE COMMUNITY EVENT signs), and the food trucks I really care about seem to be regulars there. If you've been to both H&8th and HoH, you probably noticed the difference in the crowd, both numerically and socially. HoH has a very impatient and instant gratification oriented crowd who don't seem to be used to waiting for anything, but it's worth it because of the LACK of huge crowd and the quality food trucks that park themselves there.Off the Hook, Roxy's, AND Hall's were there and that's just my Heavenly Trio.Oh yeah, there's local vendors and all that.
