A little disclaimer before I begin my review: it is mostly based on the latin nights they used to have on Fridays (RIP Latin Nights). Let's begin with the actual facility. It's not much to look at from outside but once inside you are in for a surprise. The wood floors are amazing (perfect for salsa dancing!). There was no cover before 10PM, after it was $10. The dance floor on the first floor is so spacious and open that there is absolutely no uncomfortable bumping into other people while dancing (unless it's mega packed--which it never was when I went). There is comfortable seating around the dance floor and the bar is in the back. The second floor usually plays a different kind of music than downstairs and there is a smaller more intimate dance floor. There is a stage on the first floor. I went to their Salsa event back in September. The band Calle Soul played and it was great. It is the perfect spot for music and dance events. The DJs that used to play there were pretty awesome too, playing a good variety of salsa, merengue, bachata, cumbias, etc. Sadly though, not a lot of people come out on Fridays so they stopped doing the latin nights. Oh how I miss you Haze!

Good Spot.. . Most nights the music and atmosphere is good! But on some nights the music is lame. (I'm also happy that the security was tight, because it's always great to be safe). But the bartender last night on the right hand side of the bar wasn't professional. (As soon as you walk in the door to your right) (blond lady with a black dress)I believe she's a racist. A buddy and I waited patiently 45 minutes to get a drink. (it was not extremely busy at the bar for her to skip over us mistakenly)She did not make eye contact or acknowledge us in any way. She skipped around us and over us the whole time. She definitely knew we were there! But after we finally got a drink I still told her thank you and gave her a good tip. "Even though discrimination is all around us, I think we should always treat everyone with respect because I always hope to make some form of a positive impact on the next person and maybe they will change for the best."People don't born racist. They are taught.
