Havana Tropical Grill

My husband and I loved our food! He ordered the Cubano and it was the best Cubano we've ever had. I ordered the Cubano style Lomo Salteado and it was fantastic. Then we got a tasty flan and two Cuban coffees. It was perfect for a rainy day.

The food is great, but the service sucks. If I ever want to eat here I would order to go so you don't deal with the unpleasant service. I am not sure if the bad service was because the had recently open. The restaurant was a bit cold, but they did seat us right next to 2exit doors.

Wow! That's what I said when I tasted this food. Made me wish I'd tried Cuban food sooner! The meat was high quality and flavorful. And the rice was so delicious. Loved the homemade spicy sauce with the chicken. And their cocktails are outstanding. We will definitely come back. Service was excellent, and he helped us select amazing dishes. Ambiance was festive and clean.

Havana Tropical Grill was pretty slammed for a Monday night. Service could have came by more often but he seemed stretched. We started with a Dark and Stormy. It was tasty, haven't had one since visiting Hawaii so brought back some memories. We also had the empanadas and croquetas. The empanada was pretty good, and was large. I would skip the croquetas. I had the taste of Cuba. It is a large portion which allowed you try a bunch of their dishes. I liked the concept but the food just wasn't really warm enough. I also got the rum sampler. I know my rum and if you do too I would skip it. Not the best selection but again like the concept.

Absolutely love this place. The service is always spot on and super friendly. The Mariquitas appetizer with plantains & guacamole are amazing or if your not sure try the Cuban sampler to get a taste of all their best appetizers. Of course The Cuban sandwich is perfect. Rich and savory don't begin to describe it. The Lechon Asado is soooo good. It will leave you wishing you had ordered two so you could take some home. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

What a gem! We visited here due to the reviews and it did not disappoint. We started with the mojito flight. I love that they were made with quality ingredients and not just sugared up. We ordered the Papa Rellena where the lush potatoes were stuffed with savory ground beef. The fresh onions and sauce were the perfect accompaniment and they disappeared quickly. Dinner was a traditional and authentic Cuban sandwich with Tostones and the Masita de Puerco with rice and madrones. Everything was nicely presented and delicious. Their homemade sauces made the meal. Go. Eat. Enjoy!

I can easily see why this is a Yelp favorite. We arrived around noon on a Saturday and we were seated very quickly. The ambiance was similar to a pub inside but quieter and you could actually have a conversation. I decided to try the Taste of Cuba and I found it amazing. This was my first time trying a Cuban restaurant and I don't regret it. The pork was a little salty by itself, but when mixing it with the rice it mellowed out a little. I wish I lived closer so I could go back and try other things!As a friendly warning, the hot water in the bathroom is extremely hot. My wife and I both almost scalded ourselves from just turning on the hot water by itself.

They did it again. I love this place. Just had the Arroz con Pollo after a hike at Hobbs. Good lord it was delicious. And our waitress, Sara, took great care of us. I can't recommend this joint enough.

Shut the front door! I read recommendations from Reddit but oh boy did they under represent how amazing this place is. It's small but bigger than it feels, very little parking, very cute atmosphere. The wait staff was great, made amazing recommendations and very nice. I had the Arroz con Pollo and the mojito flight. The arroz, oh wow, best I've ever had. So flavorful! The mojito flight was fun but I have to say the traditional is my favorite and super tasty. All around a fantastic experience. I can't wait to come back.

Yum!! Pressed pork sandwich and is always so tender and moist.excellent!! Vica Frita with black beans and rice. It's a heavenly plate of goodness! Not hot as fire just full of roasted pork and onions.
