Harps Food Stores

I am three months overdue for this review, and for that, I am terribly sorry.So, in addition to everything else I do in life outside of running a medical practice, living nomadically, marketing / growing our business to the West Coast, collecting antiques, traveling internationally, herding cats, and simply living my best crazy life ever... we also volunteer for our goddaughter's high school Marching Band. How? By providing all food needs for them when they travel. Simple, right? NO.SO, let me tell you... feeding 175 kids / volunteers a meal 3x in a day is a FEAT. It is no small task. Every detail counts. What is even more interesting... doing it on a TIGHT budget. Throw a little more sparkle at it? Drag 175 students / volunteers from Kansas City to Arkansas at 4am, rehearse them all day, feed them x3, compete them twice, and get them home to bed with full bellies. NEXT. TO. IMPOSSIBLE.Well, let's talk about a little story of three miracle workers that saved my backside. In the throws of travel, kids, rehearsal, competing, etc., I was running out of options. Game day in Arkansas = no restaurant will accommodate you for ANYTHING. They don't care, they don't want your business, they won't return your calls, you are SOOL. Too bad, so sad.Veronica and Gayle saved the day. They truly stepped up, despite already being overbooked, they agreed to take my MASSIVE sandwich order. AND I MEAN MASSIVE. NEARLY 300 SANDWICHES. Unfortunately, after agreeing to the order, when I called to confirm, the store had lost my order. I was destroyed. But alas, Julio saved the day again!They rocked it out, had my order done early, they literally loaded it in my truck for me with smiles on their face.Folks, grocery store employees like this don't exist everywhere. Honestly, I travel EXTENSIVELY... I've encountered more than I'm willing to share. However, when you get employees / team mates like Veronica, Gayle, and Julio... you hold on to them tight.Again, my apologies for an overdue review... but thanks to the three of you for making it happen for us and our kiddos! We had smiles on faces and happy bellies!

A little more expensive than Walmart, but they don't have the buying power of Walmart. Food is much fresher than Walmart, meat and vegetables do not go bad the next day. I really enjoy shopping here. Better name brand choices as Walmart buys fresh food from China, Guatemala and Mexico, they sell Dole and other national brands, Walmart tries to force you to buy their brands. Bakery is awesome, if I need a cake or something special I always go to Harp's.

I love shopping at Harp's Stores! Their staff are always so helpful. The quality is great for produce, meat, deli and bakery. Today was only going in for birthday cake selection. White cake with cream cheese icing! It was better than what I anticipated. Pre made and quite a selection in the cooler. Once home, the cake was moist and flavorful! Just what the birthday girl wanted.

Another great grocery store that I enjoy shopping at. They have a great meat isle and always the freshest vegetables around. There deli here is top notch as well. They even have pre made sandwiches to go if your in a hurry. This place also has the best chicken tenders and white country gravy around. The 4 pc chicken tenders with mash potatoes and white gravy plus a roll for 7.99 is a great deal. Great for a quick lunch

Great place. Everything you need is there and reasonable prices. They have the best beef and produce anywhere in town. The employees here are amazing. Very friendly and helpful!Try the sushi! It is surprisingly amazing. The sushi chef takes pride in his work. I stop in at least once a week for the sushi. Don't forget about fresh fish Fridays. Employee owned.

Great costumer service promotions needed 10/10 experience! Dude at checkout helped us pay what we couldn't very good service.

Stood at deli counter for 10minutes with sandwich guy and sushi guy both looking up at us. Neither one even said a word or acknowledged us at all. This store will not get my money again. I have stopped by here for breakfast on the fly many times.

Best deli food in the area. Always fresh & delicious. Service area always clean & staff are friendly & efficient.

I always get some tabouleh to take to my 90 year old Mother in St. Louis and she LOVES the homemade tabouleh from the Bentonville Harp's. I tried calling but the line was busy. After two days, I called the home office and Barbara answered the phone. She went above and beyond to help me! She contacted the Bentonville store via email and I got a telephone call and my Mother will be the happiest woman ever when I pull up with her Harp's tabouleh! A true small town grocery store with wonderful employees! Thank you!!

I'd rather go to Harps than Walmart any day. They don't move things around like Walmart does and they are very clean also and the workers are always so friendly and helpful. Harps is our best grocery store in Bentonville AR.
