Happy House Chinese Restaurant

This is my Chinese take out spot for the past few years. I pretty much order their chicken with snow peas every other week. Decent food with decent portions. I like their chow mai fun and egg foo yong too.

I tried this for the first time and was surprisingly happy with it. I like that they have small and large for their fried rice, lo mein and other dishes. I got the small combo lo mein. I tried the cheese wontons and an eggroll. All of these were really good the fry the rice did not look like much and they gave it to me in a cute little container, which I did not know came with my lo mein, but it was a nice bonus. The lo mein had a really good flavor, and the eggroll was good as well. The cheese wontons were definitely more than enough to share and I got a couple portions out of them. It was very affordably priced and for a hole in the wall that did not look like much. I was very glad to be surprised at how good the food was and I will be back. Also, the service was fast which I appreciate.

The food from here that my wife and I got was absolutely amazing. The fried rice had wonderful flavor, the orange chicken had a good spice to it but nothing overbearing, and the fried dumplings were very very good. For this quaint Chinese restaurant, the ambiance and service were two things we didn't really experience so I can only provide an opinion based on what I observed briefly because we got takeout: it was easy to obtain our food and the place is a very simply laid out. Isn't somewhere I'd dine at, but truthfully I'm never really dining at a Chinese restaurant so yeah. The place is basically 5 stars, but due to its lack of very inviting interior for the option to "comfortably" dine in, I give it a very solid 4/5 stars.

Solid take out spot in BA!! Where they have a dining room, as of January 2022 it was blocked off and they serving in carry-out only. While still in the midst of a pandemic it's really not a surprise. You can order ahead or walk inside and place a to go order.The man who helped me the day I went in was very friendly. Always a plus. I got a meal for 2 as that's an option on the menu and waiting around 15 minutes for it be ready. Not a big deal at all right? NOPE! We were handed fresh and yummy food and was more than enough for just me and the wifey. We really enjoyed our General Tso's chicken with fried rice, egg drop soup and a couple egg rolls. Overall good experience and we'll be sure to order from here again!

We ate here on Christmas Day. They were crazy busy with carry out orders. Not much to say about ambiance but we all enjoyed our food. I'd do carry out next time

Best Chinese food I've had in BA. Fresh ingredients and friendly service. I'll be back.

One of my family's favorite Chinese restaurants! The cheese wontons are delicious, my favorite dishes are sweet and sour shrimp/chicken, and the shrimp fried and house fried rice. It's a small, hole in the wall place, the people are friendly and your food is ready pretty quickly!

The food was actually Very good! I would definitely eat here again. No headache of bad feeling afterwards which has happened elsewhere.

food was very bland no flavor, special combination platter pepper and steak with noodles and i thought when you chose to add the mein extra you would still get the rice but ig not.

Got there when my order was supposed to be ready. They read me my order and confirmed it wasn't ready. After waiting another half hour in the empty restaurant I asked what the problem was and they handed me my order that was sitting there the entire time. They felt no need to check again or ask as I sat there. I understand people make mistakes, but to not even think to check the bag sitting there again, ask me any questions, or try and solve the problem is just terrible customer service. Food was eh, plenty of other Chinese places that are similar style and decent customer service.
