This clinic has excellent staff, and takes the time to explain procedures and reasons for tests, and protocols. Kathy is WONDERFUL, she is caring, knowledgeable, and takes the time to make sure that you understand. Knowing what and why allows a pet owner to take great care of their pets. This clinic responds to customer calls, finds the answers, and wants you to be part of their care. Kathy, KUDOS!

Terrible vet!!! Didn't care, didn't go out of her way to help my cat that was choking on something that has been lodged in her throat and is still there! No xray done! Nothing!! Just a bill for nothing done!! Then she had the nerve to say she needs to leave early due to the traffic! Why she even a Veterinarian if she doesn't care?!?!

Hammond has been excellent for the last two years with our older dog and we have loved the staff. However, after bringing our 9-week old puppy in for a first time visit, we will not be back. Our puppy had Giardia, but the vet would not listen. After two days, the vet failed to properly test or diagnose the sickness. Hammond told us to just wait it out, and it might be Parvovirus if it doesn't get better. We went to Woodland West for a second opinion and received a confirmed diagnosis for Giardia in under 30 minutes. I recommend you do the same.In addition, the vet did not perform an initial puppy wellness check for her responsiveness, heart, and lungs. They also did not treat for heart worms or recommend at-home options.

I am glad that according to the reviews there are good vets at this place. But, after my experience with one of their representatives this weekend at the Tulsa Woofstock, I would only take an animal there if he/she was next to death. I do not want to get into a debate on a retractable leash versus a static leash. I actually have both. But I was visiting my sister in Tulsa this weekend, attending Woofstock wasn't planned ahead so I only had my retractable leash. I guess I should have gone and bought another static leash instead of a bag of dog food for donating to the cause. However...I will say that literally CHASING me down, putting their "advertisement leash" on my dog and then taking his own leash OFF while I said clearly (three times) "Please, do not take my dog's leash off. PLEASE, do not take my dog's leash off. DO. NOT. TAKE. MY. DOG'S. LEASH. OFF!" was way over the line and totally unacceptable. Her jubilant smugness truly made me want to retch. But let me back up.Anytime a person approaches me in the strident, hectoring manner that this woman displayed, I immediately turn off. If we're honest, most of us react that way to that kind of approach. There are diplomatic ways to broach almost any topic. There are nice ways to speak to people. This woman was not interested in helping, not interested in advising or teaching. She was simply determined to have her way...up to and including following me quite a distance away from her own booth, when I was trying to rapidly walk away, and putting her hands on my dog; not just without my permission...but against my specific request. Not that it's any of her business...I do have both kinds of leashes. And I use both but have good reason for using the retractable more and in a more prolonged setting. Having one hand that has had three of four fingers broken multiple times (high school softball, breaking a fall, skiing fall, crushed between pieces of furniture most recently in 2018) and I have yet to find a static leash with a handle that does not hurt my hand. My dog is 12 years old. He is slow, he does not jump around, doesn't have an aggressive bone in his old weary body and was not a threat to anyone. Except the leash Nazi. Apparently somehow he triggered her.I'm so glad I was just visiting Tulsa and will never have reason to rely on anyone at this office. I'd love to see them do an anonymous internal survey on their work environment...I'll bet she's just as fun to work with!

The BEST vet in Tulsa. Dr. Johnson truly cares 100% about your animals, gives real honest treatments, and is overall a great human. I could never trust anyone more with my pets and I will recommend her to anyone I know. Many of my friends and family have switched to her because of her true heart.

I feel so comfortable when my dog is boarded here. They are very professional and caring. The kennels are kept clean, so my dog doesn't return with that nasty smell that many boarding establishments have. I highly recommend them!
