There were some good deals we couldn't pass up today. I have been shopping at NBC for a long time. I am glad they have changed immensely over the years. You now have all the deals' info sent you your emails or texts. I had fun shopping for the things that were on the tag sales.. don't forget to stop and shop, before you hit the mails or other retailers. I recommend if you have the time.. you never know what deal awaits throughout the week!!

I have been frequenting this chain for almost 2 decades. I started at the Joplin location since I'm from there at 18 y/o, then started at this location a decade ago when my sister moved to Tulsa. I've now lived in CA for almost 8 years and am soooo sad this chain hasn't moved this far west after all this time! I've found nothing like it out here at all. I'm a HUGE thrifter and NBC definitely isn't near as cheap as thrift stores, BUT thrift stores rarely have clothes with store tags on them whereas most of NBC's stuff does have those tags. My sister and I have called NBC the "no holes, no stains" store for years and years because you really have to be careful here with stuff since a lot of it has one or both of those things wrong haha. I haven't been to this location in 4 years or so until last week. In that amount of time, I'll say their prices have certainly gone up, but what place hasn't raised their prices. At this location, note all the super sales are in the wing off to the right of the front door. On the main floor, the sale stuff will be along the walls mostly. You can spend hours in the super sale wing, but be careful for flaws in that section - check for working zippers, missing buttons, rips, holes, stains, and whack issues with stitching (like an arm being stitched closed lol). They do have a decent amount of kids stuff in the back, but that section is an absolute hot mess, especially looking for littler kid stuff (under 6x) like I was. My biggest splurge and best find ever at this store was during my last visit - a $450 All Saints lamb skin leather jacket in my size with store tags still on it for $65! It was a grey tag marked at $112 and that color was 40% off. I couldn't believe what a find this one was! There was only a slight imperfection on the leather that I could see, a tiny line of discoloration, maybe a like a slight scratch that didn't break the leather, but left a small mark. Literally no one will notice, so totally worth it!

Maria thanks so much for being so rude today. I tried to pay with my virtual capital one card since capital one has lost my card twice. My virtual card is just as good as a physical card, says all my information plus I have my drivers license on hand. The fact you wouldn't allow me or yourself to manually key in my cc info is mind blowing and so beyond horrible service! You shouldn't be managing.

Don't judge this store on its first appearance! It is literally Saks 5th Avenue with all of the luxury high-end brands, minus the steep prices. It takes about 1-2 visits before you develop the patience and start finding killer deals. But don't give up on it! Because of this store, my wardrobe probably retails upwards of $30,000. No exaggeration. And I don't spend more than $1-$3 on an item. Except for certain scenarios. Like my Trina Turk winter coats that retailed for $1,500 and I got them both for $50. But summer dresses I paid $3 for that retail on average ~$300. PaI've met women from NYC & LA that fly in to buy items then take them back to resale. When you're getting Jimmy Choo pumps or St John Suits for next to nothing, you have the potential to make a heck of a profit. They have so many great weekend sales! $1,$2,$3 treasure hunts and nothing beats the .99cent sale. The trick is to watch as the item currently in the store rotate through the sales. They get new shipments every Wednesday and each shipment comes with different color tags. The key is to patiently wait for those color tags to eventually go on sale. But don't be fooled, every item is unique so there's no guarantee it will still be there when you go back! Revolve party dresses for $10 that cost ~$200 off the rack. And building my professional wardrobe with Tahari, Rag & Bone, Shelli Segal suits and even some Chanel tops. Next to nothinggggg. In addition to clothing, they also sale bedding, luggage, holiday decor, kitchen appliances, etc. I've purchased a VitaMix for $10 and a mini blender set. I've found William Sonoma dishware, cast iron skillets and Ralph Lauren towels and bedding. Literally for a few dollars. This place is a hidden gem. $20 goes a long way. And once you start finding the deals, you'll get addicted. The quality of the clothes that you find: real leather, cashmere, silk, etc. for the price of a Happy Meal is insane!!!! Of course there are some items that may be defected, or a zipper that needs to be fixed. But it's worth the hassle. You can't knock it before you try it!!!And thank you to the wonderful staff that is always so helpful and friendly! There's no place I would rather shop and I'm unsure how I will be able to shop back at the mall once I move out of state. This store/prices are on of a kind!!!!

Name Brand Clothing, otherwise known as "Half of Half," is not for the faint of heart. Imagine if Goodwill and Salvation Army threw up all over the place. There are killer deals to be found, but you've gotta work for them. I was surprised at how clean and tidy NBC was, but organized chaos is the truly best description. You have to be in a certain mood to shop here, armed with time and lots of patience. Be prepared to spend hours going through racks of clothing to find the good stuff, in decent shape and in your size. I highly recommend bringing a friend to divide and conquer. You can cover more ground that way and have twice as many eyes looking for buried treasures. Go in with a game plan and tell each other what you're hoping to find! Start in the back of the main room to find the best deals - clearance sales on already discounted clothing... that's where the name "Half of Half" comes from! I live out of state but my friend who lives in Tulsa brought me here to bargain hunt. I walked away with several Free People items, a pair of boots, and a designer dress for $150. If I had more room in my luggage, I would've bought more! Next time I come for a visit, I'll be bringing an extra empty suitcase so I can do more shopping!!

I have shopped NBC all my life. I was in the store this past weekend and my mother was trying on shoes because the sign said "Nothing Over $3". A lady at the register was arguing about being charged more, when the clerk told her that her shoes had ORANGE tags, so they did not qualify. She was so mad as was my mother. Most people stop reading a sign at "Nothing Over $3"!!!! Yes, they have some good deals, yes it's a pain to examine every inch of every item you purchase, but Bait and Switch is where I draw the line on bargains. It's unethical.

I absolutely love this store! I always find great prices on high end clothing and shoes. It can be very overwhelming if you are limited on time but otherwise it's just amazing!

Love this store! And the employees are friendly. But when you come plan to spend a few hours because trust me your going to be digging in here. If you love thrift store shopping NBC is for you. Its like a giant treasure hunt for clothing, shoes, purses, toys, home goods etc. Etc! So much stuff your bound to find something you like. Just make sure to check your items all over before you buy. Since they get close out deals from big department stores some of the stuff has holes, stains, etc. Some of it is a quick fix when your wash it and some of it isn't worth wasting your money on. I however have found way more good then bad in this store. For sure check this place out. Its a gold mine.

I am always reluctant to tell anyone about NBC. It is my favorite shopping place and I would like to keep it a secret. I have been a loyal customer since the 70's.If you have the time it is a treasure chest of name brand clothing. Keep in mind that you always have to check for rips, broken zippers, etc. but the rewards are so worth it.

This store is filthy dirty and when I pulled an item from the rack in the back of the store a cockroach came out with it. I also went to buy a different item and the clerk said "That's not the right tag someone tampered with it, you'll have to buy it at a different amount" (that's not my fault, why should I be punished?) the store manager wasn't much help either. And the counter clerk was snarky at best.Apparently they have never been taught that the customer is always right or given any type of customer service etiquette for that matter. Furthermore, while they offer deep discounts you have to check for damage on every item. I'm sure Badgley Mischka didn't ever dream of having her shoes sold with out the sparkly embellishment on them or dirty for that matter along with Ann Taylor who I'm quite sure wouldn't sell shirts with holes or tattered items in her stores. But this place has no problem doing so. Along with broken toys and keruigs with missing parts. Save a trip to this store and just buy your item on sell somewhere else or online and you can get just as good of a deal and your item won't damaged.
