Stacey is an awesome storyteller, and really knows the area better than the back of her hand. Like the best ghost/haunted walks, I learned some fun tidbits that probably won't show up on a chamber website. She does the footwork and verifies EVERYTHING so not all of the stories are scary, but a few made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. She changes the tour topics during special events, so I am definitely going to her walk during the '89ers weekend.

We absolutely had the best time with our tour guide, Stacey. We had a group of 6 for a bachelorette weekend in Oklahoma City. Given the bride's interest in the paranormal, we decided to drive over to Guthrie and go on the walking tour. We had no idea that our tour guide would be so phenomenal.I have gone on a number of ghost tours in cities spanning from Washington, D.C. to Albuquerque, New Mexico, but no tour guide can compare to Stacey. She is native to the area and brings not only the historical perspective, but also tales of experiences from citizens in Guthrie, which added a deeper level to the experience. She blended humor with fact, making the whole evening both fascinating and hilarious. She patiently answered all of our questions and never lacked for detail. If you're ever in Oklahoma City, it's definitely worth the drive out to Guthrie to hear about the sordid past of Oklahoma's original Capital city. (And bonus: you'll get to visit the smallest national park, too!)

We had a great time with Stacey on our walk. She is a great personality and a treasure to the city of Guthrie. I hope her stories are written somewhere to keep the history alive forever. She knows her history and gives you the facts and her own personal experiences of her city. Easy walking. We will be back for another tour, as she switches them up and shared different stories each tour.
