Green Eyes Coffee

I appreciate an independently owned coffee shop. And in Claremore, OK, even better! Location. Location. Location though. Green Eyes Coffee is down from Rogers State University, but it's just off the beaten path and enough down the highway that it's easy to miss. The times I have been in, it's not as busy as I wish it were. That said. It's been in business for years. Kudos! I usually get my drinks and baked goods to go and while I'm waiting on them, I envision a good playlist to create a cozy coffeehouse vibe. Sometimes it's quiet enough you can hear a pin drop. There are plants but the overall space is calling out for more. More of an inviting atmosphere. A place that people think about when they're not in Green Eyes Coffee but it's calling to them to grab a friend or two and go sit and talk and laugh over an Americano, iced latte, cappuccino or maybe a libation. I believe they serve wine and beer. The foundation is there. Boost it up, small business owners. Create an environment that people are drawn to. Parking is always available. Drive thru also an option. Staff is always kind.

The pour-over coffee here is fantastic. You can tell they take their brewing seriously--the barista weighed the beans and carefully timed the process to extract the perfect flavor. The result was a cup of coffee that was smooth, aromatic, and full of nuanced flavors. The staff was attentive and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The ambiance is peaceful, with soft music and minimalist decor that gives the place a clean and calming vibe.

Their mocha is a dream come true for chocolate and coffee lovers. The espresso is rich and bold, while the chocolate adds a luxurious sweetness that isn't overpowering. It's topped with just the right amount of whipped cream for a perfect balance. The service was quick and friendly, and they even asked if I wanted extra chocolate drizzle on top! The café has a cozy corner with plush chairs, making it ideal for curling up with a book.

An average coffee shop that occasionally has kerfuffles. (That is not a pastry, it is real Coffee Drama)Green Eyes Coffee is a bit of a compromise, a decent coffee shop that also offers the convenience of light breakfast and lunches. Their simple offerings for breakfast won't put the local cafes out of business. But on the other hand, here you can get your favorite coffee drink concoction with your meal, which the local cafes can't provide. I had the one biscuit with gravy and hashbrowns for $9. My wife had a simple order of French toast $10. Both meals were fair, but nothing spectacular. (check the pictures)The coffee here may be a medium roast, it certainly wasn't bold. I had a Mocha and my wife had an iced vanilla latté. The coffee flavor was not prominent in either drink. The coffee drink prices are on par with most other shops and drive throughs in the area. It is a nice bright modern shop inside. Order at the counter. It was just cool enough to enjoy our coffee and meals on the patio. I made sure to ask if the coffee and meals would be delivered to us outside, or if I needed to retrieve them myself. I wanted to make sure I followed the rules to avoid a misunderstanding that would result in the cops being called. Our meals and coffee were delivered. We enjoyed the morning.I like to read all the reviews good and bad for the places I visit. Wow, talk about Coffee Drama, read the three star and below reviews. Fortunately, my wife and I got in and out without getting caught up in some kerfuffle between a customer and the owner.

We don't often get to Claremore but today we got there and stopped in to Green Eyes Coffee. What a beautiful little coffee shop. Inside is decorated with lots of potted plants of all sizes. Outdoor seating is also available. I had a cappuccino and a blueberry scone. The scone was soft and very yummy. Gentle rock music was in the background otherwise very quiet inside. The staff was friendly and this is a place I'd certainly visit again.

My family and I will never go here again, nor will we recommend Green Eyes Coffee & Cafe to anyone we know, family or business colleagues! Today we met the own Kim and wow, just wow! I don't know if she's having outside person issues or just having a bad day. My husband and I came into Claremore to pickup our grand babies, visit with our kids and get feed. We have been to this establishment 4 times within the last month as Claremore is a middle meeting spot for us and we love supporting locally owned small businesses as we know the work that goes into owning your own business. However, today we had the most horrible experience at Green Eyes Coffee & Cafe! It was 2 very simple issues, our 2nd ticket was $14.21. I gave the young lady $20.11 and my husband went and got another dime, we were given $5.90 in change, simple fix, you take the $0.90 and give me a dollar. I hate change, it's hard for me to handle as I have relapsing multiple sclerosis. I explained this to the young lady. So, we're at the large table, there's 9 of us in total and Kim [owner] comes out and says behind me, give her, her f-ing dollar, need mind you I have my 8 year old grand-daughter sitting next to me and my 5 year old grandson sitting around from me. I ignored her comment. I then tried to explain to her, being the owner and she wasn't having it, she just kept telling me I was the issue, but she was the only one that had a raised voice! Okay, the 2nd issue, my husband placed our 1st order which had drinks and our food, my son got a club with mac and cheese, his club which comes with chips is $13.00, but he substituted the chips for mac and cheese with an upcharge of $4.00, my husband for got to do the same with my club as I cannot eat chips, that's why I went up for the 2nd time to ask if I could substitute mac and cheese in place of the chips, the owner told the young lady to put the order in as a substitute which should have been $4.00 just like my sons. Well, they charged me $5.00 for a side of mac and cheese. I paid it and though I'll just give the chips to my grand babies. Well, our food comes out, they give me a BLT (which I never got to say a word about) because I asked for my chips. I have both receipt that shows my son's club is $13.00 and $4.00 with mac and cheese. I paid $13.00 for my club and $5.00 for my mac and cheese. I asked for my chips and the own then lend over towards me and said I'll get your f-ing chips and told me I had an attitude, I said ma'am, you're the one that just said you'll get my f-ing chips in front of a 5 year old and 8 year old, then we were told to leave. I said we're leaving, we won't come back, we just need boxes, she came back with the boxes and tossed them at me, she walked off and called the police. I boxed up our food, which we threw away, my oldest daughter had to do the same as we're all from out of town, but my oldest. I went outside and waited for the police. If you're looking for a place to go to visit, don't do it here and if you do, don't ask for ANYTHING to be corrected, the owner will get mad at you for asking for simple issues to be corrected. I feel like the young lady was part of the issue, but owners should know better.I attached the owners response and my map movement today. I was at Green Eyes from 12:20pm to 1:11pm. It's silly, there were 2 different incidents, the 1st incident happened at around 12:40pm and there were a few people in there, but the 2nd incident happened right before we left, around 1:00pm, were you got louder and cursed at our table, at that time there was an older lady with someone and a young lady sitting at the side door. I will be doing a 911 records request and I'll post it, let's see how many people called. It's took the office a minute to arrive and he walked right passed us and shock his head at your behavior. I'll even request his body camera video if you'd like. Also, most my review is about my day before having you mess it up, stress and anxiety is a no no for RMS patients. Also, my family said no one apologized. If you have camera post your proof. Mine is in my photos! I stayed in your business almost an hour and have been there before with zero issues, your staff previously has never given us an issue. However, your response is riddled with lies. I will post the truth, but refuse to argue with you.Also, the officer did not tell us we couldn't return. Please don't talk about what the officer told us, that's called heresy, you weren't out there and we were never told we couldn't return. If so, show the report with my name and information so if I return they can charge me with trespassing. I'm awaiting your proof.

Wow! We come to Rocklahoma every year. Decided to skip the hotel breakfast and found Green Eyes. Best breakfast in Claremore! Get The Coma!

Service is quick, employees are the sweetest and their coffee and teas are spot on! Love this local spot.

I always enjoy the food & employees at Green Eyes! The place is small but a great atmosphere for meeting with friends & family! There is also an area to dine outside providing room for large groups! I suggest you try the chicken salad and enjoy!!

Perfect setting and ambiance for grabbing a quick coffee or writing a paper. Super friendly and attentive staff.
