The quality of food at this restaurant used to be very good. Unfortunately this is no longer the case the food is overpriced and the meat is stringy and practically inedible. I will not be going back.

For takeout Chinese food, this is our go-to place. We've found the family that runs it to be very friendly and hard-working. We've also loved getting to watch their family expand and their kids growing up.I can't help but think that those that are bashing the food quality are a bit snobbish, but still don't appear to turn anything away when it comes to food. The environment? It's a takeout place, which is obvious by the clear lack of tables. We've never been disappointed when we've ordered from there. Is the food authentic Chinese? No more/less than the Mexican restaurants you go to are authentic Mexican food. But they're still very good. This place is definitely worth trying. I think most people will be happy with it.

Did you know there are like... six Great Wall Chinese restaurants in OKC (and its surrounding areas)? All of the following zip codes have a Great Wall: 73116, 73142, 73139, 73003, 73013, and 73099. That's a lot of Great Walls. Enough to where maybe we could combine them to create the greatest, most bigliest wall there is.But anyway, I'm talking about the 73099 Great Wall (GW 73099), and how do I begin to describe...Okay, let's say there's a numeric rating scale from 1 to 10, where... 1 = Chinese food5 or 6 = American-Chinese food10 = American foodGreat Wall 73099 would be sitting at like an 8. It's the most American, American-Chinese food I have ever eaten. If GW 73099 was any more American in its approach to flavor/spice/seasoning/etc., it would call itself Subway and offer me a oven roasted turkey on white bread. I have never eaten American-Chinese food this bland. Ever. Frankly, I'm kinda mind-blown at the amazing reviews. I think when I skimmed through the reviews, I even saw the word "best" in one or two of the reviews (which is why I even decided to try this place). If you believe GW 73099 has exceptionally good American-Chinese food, then... You must not eat a lot of Chinese food (Americanized or otherwise). In my relatively short life, I've never felt the need to add salt to Chinese food (until now), because if there's one thing Chinese food has in spades, it's salt. I had to drench the food (noodles, rice, chicken, everything) in soy sauce in an attempt to impart some sort of flavor. Because rice cakes shouldn't be what you think of when you're eating Chinese food. It was the most bland, under-cooked, flavorless, say-nothing, do-nothing, American-Chinese food I've consumed. But I will say that the generous portions work in GW 73099's favor. You may not taste anything, but you won't be hungry by the end of the meal. And the General Tso combination platter (while being a good price/value) was less General and more... someone who didn't enlist. Un-enlisted Tso sounds right. If GW 73099 was a person, he (or she) would be the most milquetoast Asian immigrant ever. Now, having said all this, I'm willing to admit that maybe I'm wrong. Maybe all of you fine Yelpers rate this particular GW so highly for good reason, and my meal was just missing a certain somethin'-somethin' (like one of the five major taste sensations). And considering the prices are so low, I'm willing to give it another go relatively soon. This is (according to Yelp) the closest non-American food to our domicile, so I'm likely to eat here again. But only when my wife leaves me home alone, with an empty fridge, and I'm feeling super-lazy. I will say this though. The egg roll was good. Like... Really good. It was the bigliest of egg rolls.

The restaurant is open to take out only since Covid. This is an American Chinese food take out where they use the same sauces like those other restaurants that have the same looking menu. Nevertheless the food is decent and everyone in my family have their own go to dishes. We like Singapore chow mai fun, chicken lo mein, family style tofu and Mongolian chicken. We take out at least once a month. Just call in and order your food, wait time is never more than 20 mins. Also they have contactless pay.

This is the best Chinese food I've eaten. Everything was cooked perfectly. The shrimp rangoon, spring rolls, crispy noodles, sweet and sour pork and chicken were all cooked golden brown and not burnt like a lot of places cook now. The chicken and pork are tender and juicy. The wonton soup is perfect, not too salty. The chow mein is the perfect crispness and delicious. The portions are large and there's always enough for lunch the next day for everyone.

Worst Chinese food I think we've ever had. We just moved to this area and thought we would try this place out. The general tsos was very sweet no spice whatsoever. Everything else was very bland, the shrimp fried rice had no flavor and same with the lo mein. The lo mein looked like spaghetti noodles with a thin butter sauce. The crab rangoons were okay.

This is a great take out place that's convenient to where we live. Everything we've tried has been delicious and they are generous with their portions (we always have leftovers for at least a couple more meals). They make the food fresh so if you don't call ahead you will wait a little bit, but it's never very long and I think it's worth it to not have anything that came from under a heat lamp.We only ever get take out from here. As another reviewer mentioned, I don't recommend coming here for a sit down dinner. There technically are a few tables, but one is usually taken up by their kids playing. I don't blame them. They are trying to run a business and daycare is expensive, and the kids always seem pretty well behaved, but it doesn't make for the best sit down atmosphere.

Pretty awesome. The food is always fresh and consistent. It is family owned. The food is always cooked after you order so nothing sitting under a heat lamp or sitting out waiting to be plated for the next person. Will be using them more and more.

Be prepared to wait a LONG time for your food. Yes everyone is short and I understand that but a call ahead order told to pick up at 7 and it's 735 and there are still 3 people ahead waiting. they continue to take phone orders one after another as people pile up in here and wait. Don't you're time
