Goldie's Patio Grill

We stopped in a few days ago for lunch, it had been awhile since we eaten here. I ordered the jalapeño cheeseburger & it was great! The fries were soooo good also! We will definitely stop in more often if it's going to be excellent like it is again.

Goldie's is good and everyone is sleeping on it to go to corporate owned chains that you can eat anywhere. I've been going to this location my entire life thanks to family in the area. I went this past Saturday and was sad to see only one other couple inside. Granted, it was 4 PM, but still. The inside has never been updated aside from the smoking area being turned into the TV area. The service was great and the all-you-can-eat pickle bar is still there. I was diagnosed with Celiac disease since my last visit so I had to edit my order to be safe to eat. I had the chicken club without a bun and a side of cottage cheese. It was delicious. I have no clue how they make the chicken so tender. My husband had the chicken strips dinner with a side of fries, country gravy, coleslaw and crackers for $13.99. It was a ton of food. Goldie's also has a drive-thru, so if you're in a rush, you can eat on the go. Goldie's is a delicious local restaurant that is not getting enough love from the town and that's a shame. The pickles and coleslaw are absolutely amazing!! Those things alone make this place worth it. I got the country dinner and I wasn't a huge fan at all. I maybe should've tried a regular burger or the mushroom swiss dinner. I'll give it another try just to have more pickles and coleslaw but I'm not sure what to try. I'll report back once I try more menu items.

I was not pleased with my food or their team leaders interest in correcting my experience. The main manager did eventually give me a refund. This was an hour after my original complaint. I can see why this is a "local" favorite, Their mentality towards food and customer service is indeed very local.

This place was opened in 1962. I think the carpet is original. Place is dimly lit & decor is prehistoric. There's a short curtain divider that definitely looks 60 years old. The menus were encased in plastic sheet protectors & felt tacky. Same bread and butter pickles I expected. Burger was cooked as ordered but the bun fell apart before I had eaten 2 bites. Ambiance was a minus 5. The greeter never greeted us. She just asked how many & led us to a table. The two female employees I saw there were sitting at a booth playing on their phones. One was the 'greeter' & the other the waitress. I've been in restaurants where the music was too loud but this evening it was the vacuum.

When I first pulled up the place looked closed. The lights are not very bright in the evening. We were seated promptly and drink order was taken right away. Drinks were brought out and order was taken. They have a pickle bar with a few different types of pickles. The pickles were good and was happy we grabbed a bowl because the food took a very long time to come out. I ordered a bacon burger and my spouse ordered a patty melt. When our order finally came out I was served a different burger. I just ate it because I didn't want to any longer. Our food was good and the wait staff was very nice. The experience wasn't bad I just know next time to not go in starving.

Dirty, slow service and food quality has gone down over the years. Sad, use to be one of the best burger places.

I have not had Goldies in several years, it seems they are all closing around the Tulsa area. Decided to stop in at the Goldie's in Owasso and received terrible service, the greeter didn't say anything to us other than how many? She seated us and we waited, and we waited and we waited. I finally went and found the greeter and asked her if a waiter had been assigned to us, she asked me if someone had already seated us, I said yes, you did, she told me a waiter would be right with me, I waited several more minutes and she showed up at our table just to tell me she would be with me in a few minutes. I waited 5 more minutes and still nothing. We got up and left. I guess I understand now why they are all closing.

Good burger still. Owasso service is lacking. Not a $10 burger. Been eating Goldies for 40 years. Hope the can hang on.
