The Goldie's in BA has fried pickle spears, which are amazing. I don't believe the other locations do. Excellent burgers & sandwiches, especially the angel fire ones which aren't very hot iMHO.

I have been watching the parking lot at Goldies for a while. The business seems to be doing fair. There is a huge discrepancy in the rating. Yelp has a sad rating of 2.4 (36 reviews) while Google reviewers seem to like Goldie's better awarding it with a 4.1 rating (650 reviews). I have found that more reviews usually provide a better assessment of the business's actual performance. The nostalgia for a Goldie's charburger, was stronger than the fear of a bad dining experience. My last experience at the Goldie's in Pryor was great. So, I'm in for giving the BA store a try. We had a new waiter. He was inefficient and fumbling a little here and there, but overall, it worked out. The pickle bar is gone, in its place the waiter brought a generous bowl of the mixed pickles. Still good like they used to be. The burger was a good thick lean beef patty with the Goldie's signature char flavor on a toasted bun. Smaller than I remember. A very simple, uncomplicated burger. It came with a leaf of fresh lettuce, several crisp onion rings and a slice of tomato. Decorate it as you please. The fries were perfect. These were the coated fries. They stay crisp throughout the meal; even crisp when they are cold. I thought it was a great meal. I would rate it as better than 75% of the burgers I have had in Tulsa. The restaurant itself is in desperate need of a reimage and make over. New management is needed. It is time to break from the past. The restaurant is still the dreary gloomy green inside. Most of the diners in the restaurant this afternoon had gray hair, and there like me for the nostalgia of a Goldie's Char Burger. If you weren't around when Goldie's was in its peak ...well it is hard to explain the draw.

I've been coming to Goldies for 50 years. It was a great childhood experience with my father and me.I live in Fayetteville Arkansas and it's been years but I had the day off so I thought I would take a drive to experience it. I was mystified by all the negative yelp reviews so I had to come see for myself. I ordered the double double medium rare, and it was perfect ! If you'd like a good flavorful meaty hamburger, this is a great place. If you order chicken, you're on your own.My only comment would be with the french fries sometime in the past that they have switched from the fresh cut fries to these seasoned ones.

Today at lunch on a Sunday, Goldie's hit a really good mark. Our lunch made it to the table in a timely fashion, no wait. This place was busy, but a good friendly busy. We were met with friendly smiles from other diners too. There isn't a bad thing about Goldie's. I don't have pictures to post. We were so hungry we didn't have time to take candids of our grub, but it was really good. I do however suggest to try the charbroil hamburger Swiss with just mushrooms. I like cheese, but sans cheese on the dinner menu option.. comes with two sides so I chose green beans and the fried okra. The food was a lot on each plate.. so there is always a full belly leaving here in our family.. Ambiance is casual as usual. Be sure to tip your table staff.

It's Goldie's.That's pretty much all anyone needs to know.We were at this location as part of a birthday celebration, and even with all that, service was on point, and the food was typically great, as it always is.

Picked up today to go burger. Wanted it well done but it was a hard as a rock and burned. There were no pickles included and it was not worth the 20 min it took for them to make the to go order. Never again.

Read the older reviews and was hesitant to try. But a close friend of ours told us to come and get a burger. We were not disappointed! And they even bring you different varieties of pickles before your food!

The food was very overpriced for what it is. The food is all frozen and processed and the burgers are dry and tasteless. We asked if they make their own chicken fried steak and nope, it's frozen. Not impressed at all! I've heard great things about this place and I will not be going back. I'll stick to Ron's across the street if I want non frozen burgers and hand cut fries.

I have been a Goldie's fan for 50 years. The double decker, double cheese is to die for, and they cook it perfectly as you call it. Gone are the days of the pickle bar, post Covid. But I still love this place even though they have had to close some locations. I wholeheartedly recommend the prairie fire burger. The fries are great. This place is legendary in Tulsa and I hope they continue to thrive. I can't see anyone being disappointed at Goldie's. Moderate pricing.

Been going to Goldies for a long time... Sadly they are no longer great. They used to be, but over the years the quality has slipped. The fries as aren't as good as they used to be. The place has gotten run down and dirty. It is really just kind of sad. The burgers still have the same taste, though they didn't seem as juicy as they once were. Service was poor, if you are going to ditch the pickle bar and have the waitress offer pickles then don't wait until after you are almost done with the meal to finally bring out the pickles. It used to be a snack while you were waiting, it isn't supposed to be a palate cleanser after the meal. If you haven't been to Goldies in a long time... don't go back. Just savor the memories because the quality has slipped to a level that is just sad.
