After three years my wife and I gave Golden Saddle another try.the restaurant was clean, but could use a facelift. Our waitress Nicole was fantastic. We ordered onion strings as an appetizer, my wife ordered fried chicken strips with fries and side salad, I ordered half fried chicken with fries and salad. The onion strings were good but pricy. My wife's chicken strip dinner was good, my half chicken turned out to be chicken fried chicken. It is a very run down old restaurant. The staff were very friendly. The food however for me was a let down. I felt the menu is way to mixed and not sure how they keep up with all the options. They are also overpriced, especially compared to other restaurants with home cooking. I tried the half order of the biscuits and gravy. I asked what kind of gravy and the waiter said they had sausage gravy. I said that sounds good. Sadly there was a $2 up charge for the sausage gravy and I was not told about this. It was a decent amount of food but the gravy was very watery and did not have much flavor other than the sausage definitely not worth the $10. I paid for two biscuits and sausage gravy. my friend had their meatloaf and she has had it before and really enjoyed her food but I can't believe they charged $14 for meatloaf and two small sides. This is not a place I would ever return to.

Stopped by for dinner this evening and it was sooooo go! Hubby had a cheeseburger and fries. I had the frito burger and onion rings. No preformed frozen patties here. Handmade burgers and delicious onion rings for a big win! Great service as well.

I discovered this place through DoorDash and a $10 off offer.Craving some home cookin' so I ordered.Guys, guys, guys.... best fried chicken EVER. BBQ ribs... phenomenal. Wonderful BBQ sauce with a little kick. I wasn't crazy about the baked beans or coleslaw but everyone has very different opinions on what makes those sides yummy. Chili is excellent. Definitely something for everyone!Excellent quality, BIG servings!

I was looking forward to this little place thanks to the strong reviews and great menu. I started with a delivered order of salmon and meat lovers omelet, both of which we enjoyed. So we picked up another order today. The fried green tomatoes were bad, and had no seasoning, unless you count the flavor of whatever has been collecting in the fryer for the last 20 years. The house made chicken pot pie looked promising, but again no seasoning! And the pot roast potato... what a colossal disappointment. Flavorless meat, no pot roasted veggies, just random fresh veg like it's a burger. What a waste of $30. On a positive note, I love their strawberry tea!!!
