Girls Gone BBQ

I gave myself time to process, and I'm hoping I caught them in a bad day. But I ordered a 1/2lb of brisket and 3.9oz of it was hard inedible fat. (I use an Aeropress to make coffee while traveling so I need a scale to weigh out my coffee beans "in response to the owner")The brisket meat itself was 4/10 but not enough to make me come back. I felt really bad because I said Central BBQ was better, but I went to Central the next few days and Central was not better, I guess the time I went to central a while ago it was on a good day which is why I'm hoping I caught Girls Gone BBQ on a bad day. (After further exploring of central--I felt bad because it wasn't true that central was better "in response to owner") I eat a lot of BBQ, and this will be my 13th BBQ review this year on Yelp, and the lady told me "I know not to trust your opinion" when referring to my opinion on BBQ.Bottom line, I will not be returning. They wanted my honest opinion on the BBQ (in store), and I wasn't trying to be offensive, I just gave them my honest opinion and I left with bad BBQ and being told that my opinion of BBQ was bad.

We had an amazing experience at Girls Gone BBQ. We ordered online and picked it up. They were out of one of our sides and promptly called to sub it. They even threw in a sample of an additional side to make up for it. The story behind the place and the women running the show are incredible. The food is high quality and delicious. We are excited to sample our way through the whole menu. This trip included the chicken sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich. We had the black-eyed peas and the meat beans. Everything was full of flavor while still being balanced. The sauces didn't overtake the meats at all. The sides were the same. The main ingredient (beans) was still the star, just enhanced. We did get the slaw for the sandwiches on the side to prevent soggy buns. Next time, if not dining in, we would ask for all to be disassembled. The slaw on the sandwich was also outstanding. A common BBQ complaint is too much salt and fatty meats. That was not the case here. The buns are not your ordinary buns. They had a buttery taste to them and tasted very homemade. Just an excellent place all around.

The best barbecue in Fayetteville! The service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is comfortable and casual. We are definitely going to make this regular stop.

Great find in Fayetteville. 3 words. YUMMY. VEGAN. BBQ. Yay!!! I had the vegan BBQ sandwich, beans, and okra. All were excellent and the vegan BBQ sauce was delicious. The staff were super courteous, and the music was also good...Great little spot. We'll be back!

Great local business with loving employees and a fantastic owner that was fun to talk to. Food was great recommend the pulled pork sandwich. Great setting inside.

The decor is retro and the staff is polite and attentive.Vegan options on the menu are awesome for a BBQ joint. Had the Frito Pie and it was ok. Wife had chicken salad and loved it. Will have the vegan burger next time.Guy next to us had some sausage in a bun with beans and slaw. It was gigantic and looked amazing. Hit this place up, and support a local new business - you will be glad you did.

The food we had here was absolutely spot on! Very friendly staff greeted us as we came in. Small but comfortable accommodations for dining. We love Girls Gone BBQ

This was our first time in and our first bbq experience we've tried since moving to Fayetteville and I don't think we need to try anywhere else! Honestly was surprised they weren't busier with how good this food is. We both had the pulled pork and potato salad, tastes amazing and very filling. I'm not even a slaw person but theirs was a nice addition to the sandwich. And omg if you're looking for an elevated Mac and cheese, the smoked Gouda is where it's at. It's woman owned, Love! Very retro vibe, nice music, fun wall art, and overall great experience.

What a gem of a place! Tucked away in the corner of a shopping center, you'd never expect to find a good BBQ joint. But we did! From the funky retro decor, to the friendly owner, to the great food, it was a great dining experience. My wife had the Sister Rosetta Tharpe Salad (I know...at a BBQ place...smh), but it also had pulled pork on top and she didn't leave any of it in the bowl! I had the brisket plate with smoked black-eyed peas and smoked Gouda mac & cheese. You have 3 choices of sauce on the table...spicy, tangy, and sweet...I went with the spicy. Oh, and it came with a piece of really good cornbread, which I thoroughly enjoyed dunking in the black-eyed pea broth! Usually when I eat a meal, there's one item on the plate that stands above the others, so you want that to be your last bite...so you can savor it. I couldn't decide...it was all THAT good. I ultimately decided on the brisket, because...well...I love BBQ! But there's a part of me that knows I would have been happy no what what I chose! Do yourself a favor and check them out!PS: Be sure to check out the bathroom! LOL

Amazing service! Great staff! A guy from Texas, I had to try Arkansas BBQ, I'd eat it again and again! Highly recommend!
