We visited Emily's Tea Room in Gore today. It was our first time visiting. While there we were surprised to see how much vintage and antiques items were at this location. It was lile walking back into time when life was so much simpler. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to sit down and eat but the food smelled delicious. The employees were extremely nice and helpful with all our questions about the products. We look forward to our next visit and hoping for some really good home cooked meal.

I've been there twice for lunch and enjoyed it both times. Friendly service and tasty food. I like to shop in the adjacent store and pop over for a meal. Go there if you haven't tried it yet.

When I called in an order the lady over the phone was kinda rude when I told her what I wanted then I asked a question and the lady said rudely " well I'm writing down your order so give me a minute " Guess you can't do 2 things at once .When I picked up my Order I still had to wait about 10 mins because they didn't have my 2 slices of pie ready with my order and then only brought me 1 of them and had to go back & get the other one but someone did apologize for the wait because they were short staffed. My spouse like the hamburger but mine (grilled cheese) wasn't the good ( when you make a grilled cheese sandwich make sure you butter ALL the bread not just a little bit in the middle and make sure the cheese is melted and I live the next town which is 5/10 min away and it still wasn't melted .. I just won't go there anymore to get my meals . I only gave a 2 because of the hamburger

The special was roast beef and it was amazing. The atmosphere is old Victorian style. There is a really cool antique store along with the restaurant. The service was good!

Food is always good. Very disappointed our server wasn't wearing a mask. They have fresh sandwiches/salads/desserts, as well as coffees. Just wish they would enforce table spacing and would make their servers wear mask. Won't go back until they take better precautions.

Wonderful, utterly delightful food and service that cannot be found anywhere else without driving to Tulsa. The daily special is always a treat but for me, the Philly steak sandwich is the utter bomb!Set in a remarkable gift shop, you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't allow time to browse the shop before or after lunch. None of the typical klitzly gift shop junk, the Garden Gate merchandise is carefully selected to provide quality, gotta-have-it finds that altogether represent the pinnacle of unique shopping.Getting back to the Philly- loads of superbly flavorful & tender beef with peppers and - surprise - served with a side of au jus! It's the best of both a Philly steak AND an Italian beef sandwich. For dessert you will never again wonder what bread pudding at it's very best is like: you'll know!

Emily's Tea Room gets an F for FANTASTIC! Farm to table in the small little town of Gore makes getting off the lake for a few hours worth it. The pot roast, potatoes, carrots and green beans would give your grandma a run for her money. Tender, flavorful, with the perfect gravy makes this dish a must have if it happens to be the special of the day. This week Sunday Special was catfish. Whewweeeee! Catfish was crispy with zero fishy taste. The cornbread is sweet, moist, and so good we had to order 2 additional sides. My family calls ahead to reserve the special of the day because they will run out and once my family gets it in their mind to have these home cooked specials we cannot chance not satisfying their taste buds. I love the poppy seed salad dressing. We enjoy the apricot and peach tea. The dessert I find irresistible is the chocolate brownie fudge with vanilla ice cream. An antique store is attached where you may just find a hidden treasure. There is NO better grub in the area than Emily's tea room.

When we see "tea room", we are always a little skeptical. We picture leaving hungry. But we were very happily mistaken. The food was wonderful! I had a homemade chicken salad sandwich and garden salad. Homemade ranch dressing. My husband had a hamburger on a nice bun. Then we topped it off with amazing homemade coconut cream pie. So good! I highly recommend this place! And we are stuffed! The service was excellent as well.
