Garbe's Lighting And Home Accessories

We visited here yesterday and were sure we would find the exact fixtures we wanted. We had a list--moveable track lighting (but it had to be funky), a floor lamp, and a ceiling fan (also something unusual).While there were some eclectic things, some of the light fixtures were almost too retro---like from the 80s (and not in a good way). There was a lot to choose from and you do have to look closely because things are packed in. Although I hate to be bombarded at the door, we wandered around a bit (twice by a worker that seemed to be rearranging a table over and over again) before someone finally noticed us. To our dismay, their selection of pendants was minimum but they did search through catalogs to see if there was anything we liked. Once we got waited on, they were very helpful.I just remember there being a lot more selection of my tastes the last time I was in...but, it has been a while so maybe my tastes have changed.They still probably have the biggest selection in Tulsa.

I love Garbe's! We have been here many many times over the years for lighting, fans, even crazy things like beautiful wood floor air vent covers! They have an excellent selection of lighting- all styles and brands. Whatever you do, don't order online! Call the store, ask for Davey and get the best price that will be shipped to the store for way less than you can find it online!

Terrible customer service. Spent an hour picking out a chandelier to have them order it, promise to call us when it came in only to find out they had sold it to someone else because we hadn't pre-paid for it. If this had been properly explained we would have had no issue with prepaying. The salesman kept blaming us for his mistake and made no attempt to rectify it other than offering 10% off lightbulbs I can buy cheaper anywhere. Took our business to Home Depot.

I have been popping in Garbes once or twice a year over a decade. They always have the lastest instyle light fixtures and it temps me to change fixtures every year - not that I do, just saying it is temping. The people are helpful and they have a no hassels return policy. I bought a mirror here, took it home and it just didn't fit in. I hate returning things. I always feel I should ponder on those decisions before purchasing. They didn't make me feel like scum getting a refund on it.

After searching on-line and in the electrical section of HD, I stopped by trying to find a specific porcelain bulb socket for a pendant lamp repair. It took a few minutes to be helped but once Kevin was on the task it wasn't long before he emerged from the back of the building with the exact part I needed. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. I looked around a bit while waiting and was surprised to see a nice selection of items in addition to lighting. High end door and cabinet hardware, floor registers and all kinds of ceiling fan. Lots to see here, I will be back when it is time to upgrade these pendant lights.

We found just what we wanted at a good price, after looking on line and in stores all over NW Arkansas and Springfield and Branson MO. Plus, the customer service Bruce Coursey was the BEST!!

Expensive but worth it. I went after a snow storm so they were short staffed. I helped myself and found what I needed.

I've been going to Garbe's for over a decade now for different things for my home or for others. They have a wide variety of light fixtures, decor, and other accessories such as games and slippers that you wouldn't expect from most lighting stores. Garbe's really is a unique store with low prices. They have employees who have been in the business for years and truly know their merchandise. I know I am in good hands when I go to Garbe's whether I'm buying a major purchase to a small gift for a friend.
