The food is usually quite meh and the service is hit or miss. It is exceptionally loud inside the restaurant.

This restaurant has the best ribeye (and most affordable) that I have ever had in my life. I am not exaggerating when I say this. The food is phenomenal. The service is also fantastic. The chef, bartenders, and servers all treat you so well. I would move to Guthrie, OK just so I could eat dinner here every night.

My husband and I usually eat dinner here twice a year. The filet is amazing! We do not care for the twice baked potato, so we order the garlic mashed potatoes instead.

Gage's Steak House was really good! We've been to Guthrie many times for events at Lazy E but this was our first time here. It came highly recommended by a friend. We got in with no wait. The server was excellent. Rolls were excellent. I had the pork chop, my husband had a steak and we had 3 teenage girls with us who got a variety of things. No complaints. We will return on our next trip to the Lazy E for sure!!

The food was great. I suggest the blackened ribeye with the blue cheese butter- absolutely delicious. I suggest you a reservation, it can get busy on Friday or Saturday nights.

The food, drinks and service were very good however soon after ordering we realized there was a huge problem. When we arrived and were seated the ambiance was just what we have experienced every other time we have been there. As we were ordering the grease-filled smoke started coming out of the kitchen and soon everyone, including the employees were fanning themselves and/or covering their eyes. We asked to speak to the manager, he came over and we voiced our concerns. The manager said they had had problems with the fan over the grill all week but had not yet resolved the problem. In our opinion they should have been closed until the issue was corrected or at the very least warned people about the problem. One person in our party of 13 has asthma and it was very uncomfortable for them. Some of our party stood outside until our food was ready and part of us were wearing felt hats which smelled of burnt grease when we left. The manager did compensate us for a part of our total bill.

Service was slow and overworked. Took over an hour to get food after ordering, and when it came out the blackened ribeye was burned and was past well done when it was ordered medium. Portions were small and the deserts are all frozen. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were courteous but overwhelmed.
