Gluten Free Review- I asked all of my GF questions that I ask when I go somewhere new. The staff was very friendly. The food looked great when it came to our table. My husband got the meatball sub and I got the rigatoni with Italian sausage. The rigatoni had a FANTASTIC flavor, I mean it was just so good. After a few bites I did start to have a reaction so I had to make myself stop. I wish it would have worked. Best Italian dish (or few bites) I had in years. My husband said his meatball sub was very good.

What's not to love about Gaberino's! We've been coming here for a very long time and will continue to be repeat customers. In the casual, yet comfortable atmosphere you can enjoy fabulous appetizers, soups (I recommend the butternut squash soup), pastas, salads, etc. Do you like stuffed mushrooms? Theirs are diVINE!! They also have gluten free options and my favorite is zoodles with the best marinara in town. (I would love the recipe.) Then, there's the wait staff. Today we were served by Sarah K. What a delightful person. Attentive and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed her. We've also had the pleasure in the past to be served by Sam and Josh and were equally as happy with them. GREAT staff and food, Gaberino's! Well done!

Ate there while in Norman this last Friday. This place was okay but not sure I'll return. The service was super friendly and attentive. We were seated in the bar area. The restaurant was clean and well lit which was nice. The food wasn't the best I've had but it was okay. The chicken on the chicken piccata was delicious. The noodles were so bland. Tasted like they had just a little butter on them, none of the delicious white wine sauce. The artichokes tasted like they came straight from a jar, no real flavor and the mushrooms tasted like bland mushrooms. If the rest of the dish could have tasted like the chicken it would have been a knock out. They still were having their winter specials so I tried the apple sangria. It tastes like witch's brew wine, didn't taste like apple cider at all, I wouldn't be surprised if it was witch's brew because it tasted exactly like it, I paid close to $8 for a glass and a bottle of witch's brew is about $7 so . But I'm honestly not complaining, the drink was delicious. My husband's spaghetti with meat sauce had the thickest spaghetti noodles I've ever seen, reminded me of udon noodles, and the meat was all sausage. I personally didn't care for the sauce, he didn't mind it but the portion was small and he left still kinda hungry. Their house salad is straight lettuce, no other veggies, and a tangy balsamic vinaigrette. I only ate half because it was one note and boring and I was disappointed to see it doesn't come with your meal, it's an up charge. They don't have breadsticks or good bread before your meal either. You get one crunchy piece of bread with your dinner and that just isn't what I would hope for at an Italian restaurant. Guess there is a reason all the restaurants down the road were super busy on a Friday night and Gaberino's didn't have many people at all...

Save yourself the time and money, go to Olive Garden instead. Noodles are gross, marina tasted like prego sauce and the lights were so bright. THE NOODLES ARE HUGE! Bread was the best part.

Wanted to try a new restaurant for lunch. Gave this one a shot. Ordered stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer. They were okay. Kind of lacked any flavor, which for me was a theme. Ordered shrimp scampi. Also lacked flavor. The girlfriend ordered lasagna and a side salad with ranch. Came out with oil and vinegar. Remade and then it had cheese on it. Declined to remake again. Service was good. They were constantly coming by checking on us, almost too much. The granddaughter loved their spaghetti. She demolished her plate.

Food was very great. I had the pot roast over risotto. My husband had tomato basil soup and lasagna. Food portions large -ate only half of our entrees and took remainder home. Red Sangria was just right. Service was more than excellent- very attentive and friendly.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! The worst Italian food we've ever had. The dinner portion of lasagna was about the size of a kids portion, but worst of all it was all sauce and way too many capers!! It's was salty as a pickle ! Chef needs to be fired. HORRIBLE..Chicken picatta was dry and had no flavor . Couldn't finish it ! Disgusting! Do not waste your money! You will be disappointed!
