Food Pyramid

Visited on: multiple dates from 2012 to presentTo my knowledge, this and Consumers are the only conventional dedicated grocery stores in Stillwater, and Food Pyramid is probably the most well-rounded grocery store, with the best selection of items and the most pleasant shopping environment. They tend to have better quality items (a good example is in ice cream) and the freshest produce. Their main downfall is their somewhat higher prices in comparison to Consumers and Walmart.

worst store ever- cashier that had given me so many problems last year was promoted to be a manager now, Way to go food pyramid/ homeland that just goes to show that they really don't care about their customers at all.

I waited a week for a item to be in the store. Finally the item is there then my card reads network error. Cashier didnt know but saw it before. Called manager and she didnt even try it again she just said nothing is wrong with their system its the card provider. I told her that dont make no sense. I can go to walmart right now and use the card she said it wont work there either. I went to walmart card worked fine. When back to advise her that its food pyramid system not my card. Thank u and have a good night. If she didnt know what the problem was then its ok, but dont say anything to a customer. Know what u talking about first. Next time try the card in ur presents and then say sir I dont know why this error is happening, do u have another form of payment. Im sorry this happen and I will report this to my boss so it wont happen to anyone again.

The bakery is horrible. Totally messed up a cake order as to size. The lettering was amateurish at best. On top of that, the lady ignored me for several minutes at the counter It's back to WalMart, I guess.

Just had the weirdest experience shopping at Food Pyramid, which is now the only non-Walmart option in town, since Consumers closed down. Went in the Sunday before spring semester started to find a completely barren produce section. Displays were entirely empty - it looked like Consumers did RIGHT BEFORE IT CLOSED FOREVER. I seriously wondered if FP was shutting down too, but the rest of the store seemed fairly well stocked. *Except* for the organic milk, which was entirely gone too. ?! So two of the key things that I went there to get - produce and milk - were fully out of stock.I've made a concerted effort never to shop at Walmart, but this was a major fail and poses the question: what is the point of going to Food Pyramid in the first place if I have to go to Walmart anyway to get the stuff FP doesn't have? Asked a few people at check-out what was going on, and no one seemed to have any answers. Consumers was not slick and had extremely limited stock, but at least I had the sense that it was being well managed. Am not sure what's going on at FP.

They have an extraordinary pharmacy staff who are more than willing to work with both you and your doctor. They will absolutely be my preferred pharmacy for the foreseeable future.

Food Pyramid is wonderful! To understand why, you need to know my background:A few years ago, I won the Stillwater Lottery, and my life immediately changed; people I hadn't spoken to in years were coming out of the woodwork, asking for money. I had no friends anymore, just sycophants looking for a handout. I finally understood what the philosopher Baruch Spinoza meant when he famously said, "Mo' money, mo' problems." After a while, it was clear what I needed to do. I needed to get rid of my winnings. Unfortunately, I didn't quite know how to do this; I didn't want to simply give away my fortune, since such an action would earn me many enemies (for example, the charities I gave less to would spite me for not giving more). I was starting to think about simply withdrawing my money in large bills and burning them in a trash can when, by a miracle of fate, I stumbled upon Food Pyramid. Here was the answer to my problems! I cried with joy as I walked through its barely navigable aisles: Small containers of Sabra hummus for $5! Bags of corn chips for $8! 4-packs of sodas for $9! It was incredible. Needless to say, after a couple of trips to Food Pyramid, I had gone through all of my fortune (and then some). Granted, some people will complain about a few of the downsides to Food Pyramid, like the fact that they only have four self-checkout lanes, two of which are permanently closed, and the ones that are open never work correctly, or the fact that one of their cashiers spits the juice of his chewing tobacco into an old Dr. Pepper bottle while handling your produce, but I will always remember Food Pyramid as the single fastest way for me to rid myself of any money I had. It is truly refreshing to leave grocery shopping with a smile on my face. The young man sacking our groceries was so friendly and took pride in his job!
