Flip's Wine Bar & Trattoria

This place has been around longer than I've vent alive. I love the red and white checkered table cloths. We sat at the bar this time and received mid level service. Ambiance is great here! We had wine and appetizers. The calamari wasn't anything special. Vibes are 5* but service wasn't the best and food I had was meh.

The food was good. The service was great! Everyone was very friendly and worked together to make sure you get what you need. I ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara and added blackened chicken. It was so delicious the noodles were homemade and sauce was great. My partner ordered the chicken parm, because of its reviews on here. When it came out it looked different and it wasn't great. I would say order it with alfredo if you do order it.

Love this place. Service is always great and food is usually a 10/10. Only issue is consistency. Chicken piccata can be a 10 one day and a 6 another. Soup of the day is also hit or miss but everything else we've tried we love.

Flips is a really comfortable Italian spot with delicious comfort food. The service is friendly and the wine list is just right. You'll like the lasagna, Italian sausage, meatballs, giant salads and pasta dishes. It's not the best Italian I've had in my travels, but it's a comfortable spot for a T, Wed or Th evening dinner with friends, family or colleagues.

We met some German friends here that said the restaurant was like an authentic Italian bistro. The atmosphere was quaint, comfortable, and we enjoyed that. The charcuterie platter was very good. But the pizza left a lot to be desired. It had a crust like you would buy in a package at the grocery store. Service was friendly and good.

I really like their Chicken Parmesan. It has a good atmosphere. My wife always gets the Mediterranean Pasta. She really likes it a lot. Finally have to give a shout out to Kelsey. She's the best. Ps. I got a Salmon Caesar Salad for the first time this past weekend. It was really good. Try it out.

AHmaaaziinnggg!! I'm in town from Dallas, so I didn't think I'd find decent food. But the chicken fettuccine Alfredo was to die for!!! I swear it tasted so fresh, puts olive garden to bed!The garlic bread was soooo delish too! I wish I had room to try the Ceasars salad because it looked amazing too.I will absolutely be back when I come into town again

Wasn't great. Atmosphere was nice but the staff seemed overworked and I didn't see a single staff member smile. My special was good but of a table of eight and only one dish being enjoyed... I'd say that's not good. The meatball sub was dry and lacked a dynamic flavor profile and the lasagna was more meat than anything so if you don't want your pasta to be a footnote, maybe just stick to the spaghetti. The apps were pretty good, we had toasted ravioli and calamari, but I'd stay away from bruschetta if you are a big fan, it's pretty much just dry tomato's on a giant piece of bread. I had a good time, don't get me wrong but I def won't be back anytime soon and there are def other mom and pop Italian restaurants that I just think do the food a little more well thought out for the price point.

Been here a couple times and had the exact same service it was terrible, not attentive waited 15 mins for water refill and then asks if I would like a salad and proceeds to never bring it til we get the check.. got their "famous lobster ravioli" first time it was amazing the other times it was not cooked fully and was not good. I'm very disappointed in this place me and my boyfriend will never be coming back.

I have been here a few times and service was great, but today it was horrible service. Not only was the server not attentive, but the main entry took forever and the manager Mackenzie tried to argue about the service. It was somewhat busy but for 20 tables and not all filled was not busy, the server Ryan C gave us bad service. Did not check on us, especially when the appetizer came out he didn't care to ask us how it was. The food was good but my experience was very poor. I know the service industry because I've been in it for years. This again was horrible service. I am upset to have even spent my money in this place.
