After years of thinking this was like a grilled burger place, and learning that it's actually an Asian bowl place, we finally gave it a shot at lunch today. I had the Korean spicy chicken bowl with white rice, vegetables and green onion. I also grabbed a side of kimchi and nori. The standard bowl comes with 3 sauces, the choices are magic sauce, hot sauce, double hot and triple hot. I got 2 magic and 1 hot. Used both magic and no hot, the Korean spicy chicken was spicy enough. It was a good lunch, a pretty clean meal, no big lunch hangover. If I had one complaint, and it's a stretch to call it a complaint, but more advice to others: they pack those bowls FULL! Trying to move everything around to get bites with rice, meat and veg on one fork full was a PITA. You kind of need to dump it out on a plate to mix it up. That said, great value for your dollar!

A few nights back my friends and I ordered dinner at this Flame Broiler, and we enjoyed it quite a lot : -)Tip: You can't go wrong if you check out their "magic sauce" :-)The bowls they feature here are both tasty and simple, which makes them just the thing for a quick dinner. While we all sort of wished they had more options available on the menu, what we tried totally hit the spot - we'd be happy to return another time.

The ambience here is strip mall storefront restaurant with parking lot outside dining available. The service here is outstanding. The young people working the counter are all very attentive and very interested in helping you get the food that you would like and answering your questions and making your visit enjoyableThe food here is outstanding. This is some of the best teriyaki chicken I have found in the Tulsa market. The meat is high-quality and prepared very well. The sauce is an excellent balance between savory and sweet, the overall effect is wonderful. The chicken is slightly better than the beef, but both are good. The rice is cooked perfectly and an excellent compliment, the steamed vegetables and salad are both reasonable and the portion size is correct. I would favor one of the bowls over the plate. The cost is reasonable.Overall a very enjoyable fast food experience.

The Flame Broiler is the Korean fast food attempt. The concept is clever and simple to order: pick a size, a protein, and a rice. Unfortunately, the food itself is also simple, very simple. The plate is the largest size and comes with rice, meat/tofu, half an orange, and a salad. Everything is pretty much premade and the meat is already stir fried beforehand. The problem is everything is prepared so basic that it tastes like something you could make at home yourself. The salad is raw chopped up cabbage without any sauce. I don't even know what to call it, definitely not a salad. Who in their right mind would think that's a good idea? Giving the availability of actual Korean restaurants out there, I don't really see the point of going to an alternative fast food option with inferior taste.

My wife assured me that the multi colored stuff in the bowl was safe to eat. She called them vegetables. I try to eat healthy once a year whether I need to or not. Today was that day. There have been many new "Bowl" restaurants pop up in Tulsa, offering cultural variations of the trendy meal. The new restaurants offer appealing combinations of protein, veggies and rice, spruced up with exciting flavors and exotic ingredients. The Flame Broiler on the other hand has become a little mundane. The savory flame broiled meats and the sauces are its only unique characteristic. It is not bad, but now seems boring in comparison to the competition.Veggies, rice, charbroiled meats and tasty sauces. Basic bowls. Healthy food and friendly counter service.

I got the plate with half and half chicken and tofu. I had it with brown rice and veggies. The food was great. Not too greasy or salty. However, I have to say I am a little disappointed that kimchi wasn't available when I tried to order it. The tables for dining in were spaced out and were all occupied during weekday lunch time.

This is one of my favorite places to go and eat! Simple, quick, and tasty.I recommend a regular Half (beef) & Half (Chx) with brown rice & veggies , topped off with Magic Sauce, Hot Sauce, and Jalapeño's and the flavor explosion is complete.I would recommend this to everyone if you like fast, affordable, healthy, and delicious.
