The main market is not open. The urban and garden market are open in the back though. Perhaps the market is closed on Sunday or closed by 1PM. :(

Updated visit: Good opportunity to check out the local farmers market and get produce in season and much of it sourced without all of the additional enhancers big producers give us. It was a hot day and that didn't improve things in the market. They have fans but even with that we were sweating. Little kiddos in strollers were rose cheeked and looked like they would benefit from a popsicle or A/C. Ha! We could too. Found some nice yellow squash and zucchini - just what I was looking for. Always enjoy this market. Wide variety of produce, bison, sausage, cheeses, breads, flowers and friendly vendors.

I wanted to check out the farmers market to try something...we had 40 minutes to closing per on the yelp. When we got there it was totally empty. There was no sign of closure. Maybe next time.

This was my first visit to the Farmer's Public Market. I love the old building it is in. I enjoyed shopping around for some made in Oklahoma products. Several of the vendors took time to talk to me about their business and products. There were lots of friendly people. It seems like they had room for lots more booths to be set up, and I am sure in the later spring and summer months it will fill up, and there will be even more offered. I look forward to going back and trying some other products. This time I picked up several cheeses, some chicken sausage, and a few sweet treats, including a giant praline. Yum!

Great selection! We didn't bring enough cash as some of the stalls still don't take cards. We will definitely remember that when we go back! We love a good farmer's market, and this one is right up there for us!

I was honestly so very disappointed in this "Farmer's market". I was expecting more produce and less homemade prepared foods. I was also very overwhelmed with the pressure some of the vendors put on us to try and buy. I had food shoved in my face and I'm pregnant and can't eat different things and a few of them wouldn't leave me alone.I was also unimpressed with the space, it was super hot and humid and not organized very well. There were a few great vendors but shuffling through all the rude and pushy ones was not worth it to be honest.

We had never been to the Farmers Market in downtown Okc so we decided to stop by on a cold rainy Saturday. It was not what I expected at all. I thought it would be all outside and just fruits and veggies. There were lots of cool vendors. It's winter so maybe there are more fruits and veggies in the summer. There were lots of meat and cake vendors. We got to sample some different meats and cheeses and ended up buying some at 3 different vendors . We were just planning to look around and not buy anything but the meats were awesome and so was the cheese. We also bought a piece of cake. The vendors are all really friendly and we had a great time. We will definitely go back.

Went on a Saturday morning thinking this would be a beehive of activity of flower and vegetable vendors. Nope - mostly vendors with premade foods and crafty stuff. Veggie vendors were located in other buildings in back of the main building. Worth going to visit a historical building and area - but that's about it.

We visited this place today to look at vintage things and we were completely devastated that the room with Barbie's and model car and kids Tory had a room on the side with porn along the walls in racks and all over a table. 100s of magazines open to centerfolds showing women with various things in various parts of the body. I went to the attendant outside the door and his 10 year old granddaughter and asked who I could talk to about the issue. He told me if I had an issue I could leave because he could seek what he wanted and immediately locked the door behind me and the other people I was with. I filed a police report and sent the information to channel 4 5 and 9. I hope somebody does something about it because it's unacceptable to shop in an antique shop and see such filth. I've never ever seen anything like that in the farmers market.

I was prepared that the Market wasn't what it used to be. I found everything I needed in the produce area. Not much as far as artesian. Did get some great homemade bread. I would go again.
