Family Cafe

Got there about 11:20 am for the lunch buffet and they were already busy. We had a large group so we found a picnic type table but there was a lot of other seating. The buffet was small but pretty mighty. You get a styrofoam plate, bowl and silverware at the station at the front of the buffet. The mains change from day to day but todays mains were liver, gizzard, fried shrimp and fried chicken. The chicken was more like the original KFC recipe batter on the chicken. Really good and tender. Everything was always stocked and great home cooking. The owners grandkids were selling lemonade for a $1 a cup before you walked in and was making a killing. They also have fresh pie slices to purchase and free soft serve ice cream. Everything was great. The buffet was under $13 per person.

The lunch buffet is great with different choices each day. They are closed Saturday and monday but 6am to 2pm the other days. I can't tell you about all the different foods but they are like you used to have growing up. The owner and servers are friendly and take care of you. They seem to know all the regulars by name.the restaurant is clean and nice.

The Sunday buffet is very good. They had chicken, meatloaf, ham ,and lots of vegetable choices. The restaurant is clean and well lite. Unlike other buffet the service and servers were outstanding.

Good home cooking family owned cafe. They had a buffet on Sunday, we got the meatloaf and sides. Also got two pieces of pie, apple and pecan. The meal and dessert was very good and staff was very friendly.
