You're getting a full five stars for the lobby alone. The games themselves are decent but the lobby is *chefs kiss*. I hope they update their games and give us some new challenges!

By FAR the best escape rooms in Tulsa! We're kind of junkies for these things and make special trips to find good ones, so we've done a ton of rooms in Tulsa, other US metros, and even a couple in Canada. We've had awesome experiences and also seen some less than stellar escape rooms. My confidence is not misplaced when I say that this place is amazing & you NEED to come check it out. So much fun! Go grab a bite to eat at Rex's beforehand or take a stroll around Costco afterwards to debrief--the drive to Bixby isn't that bad & it's totally worth it (guy's we're practically in Arkansas-j/k, so if we can get out there, you can, too). Take your out of town friends here to showcase the talent & 5-star venues in Tulsa. :)We actually had just gotten back from doing a half dozen escape rooms in KC when a friend discovered this place. I would put this among our favorite experiences, and we had just been wowed with some pretty epic rooms. I think anyone would have a great time in the Escape Hatch rooms, but I'll discuss our experience in the following aspects for anyone curious:-Decor-Personnel-Puzzle StyleDecor really adds to the experience of an escape room, but it takes considerable capital to do it well (and often people come in and destroy what has been meticulously put together), so this aspect is often lacking in new places. Not so with Escape Hatch. The rooms were spot-on with decor & it was done with abundance (some places do the bare minimum & sometimes only have decor where it is also a clue). The ambiance begins when you walk in the front door, to get you in the "escape spirit": it's really, really well done. We fell in love before we even got into our escape room.Another factor that can really add or detract from the experience is the game master/personnel. The game designer was awesome to talk to even after our escapes. It's great when you have a game master that is really passionate about the challenge & is cheering you on & holding their breath for you as they monitor your escape. In other places, we have experienced apathetic game masters, which can detract from your enthusiasm for the challenge. Also, apathetic personnel tends to be slower in responding to requests for clues, etc, which can hinder your experience. The young man who designed the rooms not only put his heart into the design, but I felt like he was vested in our escape as the game master. He was awesome & I expect more great things from him as they add/rotate more rooms. Have had some discussions with the owner & are really impressed with what he's wanting to do for the Tulsa area with this business. Super people. We have done both of the Heist rooms. These will challenge you, but they aren't impossible. I recommend trying an easy or mid-level room to get the feel for how this establishment puts their rooms & clues together. We find this to be true with any escape room venue: some places like to just hide things, some like to do lots of tech dazzle, others are very intellectual/puzzle-based clues--it just takes a bit of immersion to figure out how the game designer "ticks." The puzzles in the rooms were EXCELLENT & there is an added element of difficulty in the fact that you have much decor and many items that you don't need in order to escape (e.g. red herrings). Personally, I think it's fairly disingenuous when everything that's in a room is a clue. I mean, that's not real life: part of solving a mystery is figuring out what's significant. In these cases, it seems like the designer/owner just didn't feel like doing (or spending) any more than was necessary, so I appreciated all of the things that were just there to add to the environment. Just make sure you don't get stuck on anything too long: if you keep adding something up backwards, forwards and inside out...and can't figure out what it means, abandon it at least temporarily. I imagine there is less of a need to sift through to the key details in the easier rooms, but I won't be able to comment on that until we go back again and do one of those. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks. But the puzzles/clues...they were just very clever without being esoteric or too much of a stretch. Super well done. I was impressed that they had done some of the tech dazzle too: I don't think we've seen much of that with any of the other Tulsa locations. This kind of venue, done well, answers the ubiquitous question: "what's there to do in Tulsa?" If you love Tulsa, you'll support this business. Even if you don't like adventure or challenge, do your civic duty and patronize local people. :) Oh, and also, be kind & gentle with the props & decor--if you're not sure if something opens, you can always call out to the game master to ask if you should take it apart before you disassemble something.

So much fun! I absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the Tulsa area. The plot was exciting and the staff did an incredible job of explaining everything from the reason behind the rooms, to the reasons behind the clues and even gives you clues along the way if you get stuck. Not to mention, the staff did such an amazing job accommodating my party with us being late (accident held traffic up for over 40 mins). If you are looking for something fun and exciting to do, this is your place! Will be back for sure.

From the moment you walk into the door, you are instantly but to a the test. One of the best escape rooms I've been to. My group and I have been to a number of them (Tulsa, Dallas, San Antonio, Kansas City) and this one was the perfect challenge and very immersive. The owner and staff were super friendly and open to feedback and we will definitely be back to do their other rooms.

The escape hatch in bixby is incredible! Me and 3 of my friends have been going to escape rooms for about a year now. We have gone to several in other states even. This one is at the top of the list. 1st off the staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. The decor was top notch in the waiting room(over the top really and unexpected), we did the "Embezzlement" room. The room was basic but better than some we have seen. There was lots of detail and multiple different kinds of puzzles. We finished with around 18 minutes left and only used 1 clue(they told us most need multiple clues ). We immediately wanted to try another one I would recommend this one highly!! We have tried a couple others in Tulsa and they were lacking. This one was not!

This was a great place. My husband and I both had the Chicken Flautas and they were delicious. The service was okay but the food was great. They have $2 Margaritas and they were made stout, just how we like em! All and all a good experience.
