Currently this place is closed again. Originally the Elephant Run. Now "The Run". The sign out front states a new place is in the works. It was a hopping place in the past.

Not a bad little place for music and drinks. Small dance floor and a live band. I may have just met my next ex husband there last night. Cheers!

Let me say this first. Not every bar in Tulsa or the rest of the world is targeted to the 20-something demographic. Guess what? People in the 40's, 50's and older still like to go out and grab a drink and, God forbid, meet other people, socialize, or just have a good time.It is what it is. It's got it's regulars, the Karakoe crowd, those who come to take advantage of happy hour and those who come to get drunk. It's clean, safe and reasonable on price.Just as a fifty year old would be out of place at Rehab or Pink, folks who still get ID"ed would probably not find this to be their idea place.

Very attentive and friendly staff. A little strange to have to pre-pay when ordering food if paying cash but not a big deal I guess. Very nice and well maintained bar. Food was ummm ok at best. Only serious complaint is how long it took for a couple of simple items to get to our table. Staff checked in frequently to let us know they were working on it.Will go back again if in the area and only for drinks and socializing.

Home of the MILF and the white man overbite. If your mom tells you that she was at the Elephant Run with her girlfriends over the weekend, prepare to be mortified.Located in the fabulous Trade Winds Central hotel just off I-44 (I can't make this up). The Elephant Run is the premier Tulsa dance club for the geriatric set and twenty-somethings doing a little recreational slumming. If you stay late enough you can actually smell the desperation and Ben-Gay. You'll probably be hit on by your 8th grade math teacher as well. It's all very disturbing. Still, the Elephant Run is a bit of a Tulsa tradition and if you like to people watch, this place is better than the smoked turkey leg line at the state fair.

Overall mellow bar with diverse age group. I wouldn't classify it has a nightlife hotspot, maybe this is because it's in a hotel. But it is a good place to hangout with friends, play pool, sing karaoke, or have a few drinks because it's not too loud. The Thursday night karaoke is fun to sing a few times as there is not usually a very large crowd waiting in line to sing.Recommended for small to large groups looking for a place where they can hangout on a reasonably priced tab.

think the people are just more mature actually, you know lots of Dr's , lawyers, and bus.-exec's come here. the age is usually late 20's and up- it's not cheap so if your out to spend mommy and daddy's money go to crawpappy's. ER has karaoke on Mon, Wed and Fri and live music on others. Happy hr daily from 4-7! contrary to belief and old folklore I've never seen a hooker in the lobby either. they have newly renovated bathrooms and the people that work here are just fun and you can tell they love their jobs. on special occasions such as Fat Tues and St Paddy's they offer a free buffet. Gary is the owner and he's a very sweet man, that owns a great bar!

It's good. Relaxed atmosphere, good bands rotate through. I don't love the natchos, there is more refried beans than meat, however the burgers are really good.
