El Sabor De La Baja

As someone who loved going to their original 10th street location, this location was actually more on the way home so we decided to stop here - especially since the 10th street location was SUPER loud for our baby so we hoped that this location was going to be a tad less loud. Thankfully we picked this location than going to 10th street because there wasn't live music and it wasn't packed to the rim. If you don't speak Spanish, you'll manage to get by even though the waitress we had only spoke Spanish. She was somewhat attentive but nothing stellar to praise as it took a while to get drinks refilled and our check after asking. But that's where the food made it up. Their seafood is SOOOO fresh. If you love seafood and steak, I highly suggest the surf and turf taco and quesadilla. They put a salsa in the quesadilla and it just made it so much better. My husband loved his Tigre ceviche. Keep in mind if you like pan cooked shrimp and seafood, please make sure you pick accordingly because if you pick a ceviche that's just cooked in acidic liquids and you're off put by not "fully cooked," you might have a hard time enjoying their ceviche. Otherwise drinks were great and you can't go wrong with any of their tacos. Such HUGE portions. Always a go to for seafood fixes!

Amazing food!! My family and I have been to the location on 10th street and loved the food there as well. This location felt much more spacious and was well decorated and clean in the inside. The seafood is surprisingly so fresh every time. With great portion sizes as well. All tables get complimentary chichurritos with salsa to munch on. Will definitely be back!

Affordable, delicious and the drinks are soooo good. The service was awesome, the restaurant was clean and chic. The ceviche is to die for. The carne asada taco? Delicious. Go check this place out, it is a gem!

Absolutely delicious food. Great service. A little language barrier but it didn't affect our orders. Music is a good. Tons of parking. We will definitely return!

The food is great fresh and appeals to you with sight smell and taste! The staff are friendly and helpful if you have questions! They work fast to serve you a delicious meal! My only suggestion for them is to turn the music down just a little. It was difficult to catch up with family during our meal! I have been here 3 times since they opened this location! Thank you for bringing great food to Midwest City!!

These guys knew what they're doing when they made my fish tacos. Great customer service. And the atmosphere was great. Music playing. Clean tables and floors. I'm definitely coming back

Good authentic Baja Fish taco. The tacos were huge. I ordered 1 fried and 1 grilled but they brought me a fried fish and grilled shrimp. They fixed the order. All 3 were delicious.

They refused to discuss gluten free options. Then had NO idea what it even meant and went to the back to laugh stare and talk about us. Gluten makes my sister ILL!! When I tried to explain it, they laughed and continued to talk about us but refused to help us. So I asked them if they even knew what it meant and the waitress laughed and said "I am not healthy like that." It was not so much they could not even let us know options it was the laughing and talking about us right there in front of us that was so unprofessional. We ended up leaving because we could not trust them to help us.

We went to this place expecting to find the food I was so fond of when I live in San Diego, where the Baha peninsula begins. That food was a carne asada burrito. The region is famous for it's fish tacos and unique carne asada burritos. These Southern California/Tijuana-style carne asada burritos consists only of a specially marinated meat, crema (or sour creme), pico de gallo, guacamole, and maybe a small slather of refried black beans. They also do not come with cheese. I ordered one and, to make sure they understood, I specified no cheese. This should have been completely expected and understood considering that this place brags about being "Flavor of the Baja".The carne asada burrito was NOT so-cal/Baja. To be fair, the burrito was loaded with meat but had maybe(?) a tiny bit (a teaspoon?) of guacamole or something green in it and some sort of cheese like swiss or monterey or something. The fattyness of the cheese (which I specified I did NOT want) mixed with the juices of the meat did not balance well at all. I didn't have any pico de gallo or sour cream in it which is what tempers and bring balance to this special dish. Those of you pining for a real Baja border burrito need to look elsewhere. The music? OMG the manager must be nearly deaf. Seriously! The wife and I couldn't even hold a conversation. We ended up playing with our phones. The music was also so loud that the waitress couldn't even understand my order. I had to repeat myself several times. She didn't bother to see our distress and turn down the music. Lucky, I happened to have some earplugs I wear near the airforce base when outside. It was still terribly loud. My sound app recorder spiked into the 90+ decibel range which can damage hearing over a period of time. I have a pic of my sound app for proof.The Missus ordered a fish taco. It was presented well and the taste of the food was OK. I will not be coming back. I'm sure glad I didn't bring my friends. I will pick a taco truck next time and it will be half the cost and I won't leave with my ears ringing.
