El Pueblito Mexican Restaurant

I had a Steak Fajitas and 2 cold beers, and I was quite satisfied. I also brought home leftovers. It was delish I always have loved leftovers a day or two later.

My family and I live in Texas. We eat Mexican food probably 3 nights a week. We were in Independence for the weekend and tried out El Pueblito. It was ok but there wasn't anything that was exceptional. The staff was odd too. Couldn't put my finger on it. The next night we went to Maria's on Main St. OMG! It was incredible. Do yourself a favor and just head to Maria's!

Great food, helpful friendly, and efficient staff, very comfortable and pleasant being there. The ambience is wonderful.

I've been eating here for years. Good Mexican food, great service. Full bar. Open on Sunday.

I had the #2 lunch burrito with steak. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was good and hot no complaints there. Would definitely recommend going.

Food here was fantastic. Service was excellent and accommodating. Food tasted authentic and the mole sauce was wonderful. Very excited to come here again.

Usually, this place is pretty spot on but today's experience was less than stellar. The food was good and very fresh but, the service was not acceptable. First he took my drink order and brought it promptly, but it was a full 15 minutes before he came and took my order. It was odd because it was after 1:30 in the afternoon and the lunch crowd had thinned out somewhat. I watched him wander around aimlessly until he finally remembered to take my order. The food came out and was great but he never came back again and I could have used more napkins, chips and salsa. When I was finished another server came and took away my used plate and utensils. So I sat another 10 minutes or so until he again, finally remembered to bring me my check so I could leave. Waiting, to be waited on is not my best attribute, I almost got up and walked out before he finally took my order!

Was greeted with a smile. Waitress was great (Fernanda) and all the staff were great. The food was delicious. One of my favorite places to eat at.

I absolutely love El Pubs! Their food and service is ALWAYS TOP NOTCH!! My Mom and I would often go there before she passed and we was never disappointed. I have many great memories, laughing and dining there!!

Food is always hot, quick and good. Customer service is fantastic. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a great restaurant.
