El Pueblito Mexican Restaurant

El Pueblito had to be the fastest service I've ever received when going to a restaurant!!! We had a party of 10 and our food was brought out in just a few minutes of our order! I was extremely shocked at how quick they completed our order and got the food to us!! So many stars for the fastest service. The food was also very good. I had the quesadilla fajita and it was very good. I'd recommend it to anyone going to El Pueblito. Great service, great vibe and an overall wonderful experience!

While in town for graduation, we met some family for lunch at El Pueblito. They were fairly busy on a weekday at lunchtime. We were seated very quickly & served chips/salsa. Our waitress efficiently took our order & the entire tables food arrived in a very short time.I ordered taquitos with a side of refried beans. The portions were very decently sized & it smelled amazing. The taquitos, visually, looked slightly over fried. They were slightly on the crispy side, but it did not affect the flavor at all. They were very flavorful & I enjoyed them very much. The refried beans had the best flavor. I find that refried beans are all usually about the same, but El Pueblito has made a great improvement on a "typical side". The other outstanding flavor came from the guacamole, very fresh, creamy & a highlight to my meal. Overall, I was pleased with my meal & would come back!!

Being from East Texas it reminds me of a million Tex-Mex joints back home. Nothing revolutionary but solid and tasty with good service. I'd go back if for some reason I ever had to come back to this God forsaken depressing town again.

I've only gotten fajita nachos to go. I should have looked at order before I left. The food tasted good but only got chicken and steak mix and cheese NO peppers or onions. I'm not from there maybe that's the way they do it. But I wanted all. I will try again when back there but I will be more specific.

We called in to make an order only ordered 2 things la prima and street tacos. We went in to pick up our order and they charged us over 40 dollars. When we said something the worker started laughing at us. They also got the street tacos completely wrong and the food we didn't order looked completely disgusting.

Very good!! Salsa has a tiny bit of kick, chips are good and so is the queso! I LOVED the Chili Colorado. My husband enjoyed his enchiladas fajitas. My friend said the flautas were tasty. We had a sweet waitress who did a great job. Clean restaurant and restrooms. We would stop here again if we are passing through!!

Food was ok and service left a lot to be desired. Waitresses seemed like there was other things she would rather do. Like play in traffic.

What can I say about Mexican food that hasn't already been said. Here you get traditional as one expects. No surprises. But you can't beat the service and speed at which you experience. If you have a short lunch hour or don't have the time, you can get a complete wonderful Mexican meal in short order. Not that you have to be in a hurry. For this is a favorite of the after-church crowd where there is food for every taste and atmosphere to match.
