El Arepaso is a hidden gem in South Tulsa! Food is always hot fresh and delicious! Service is friendly. I highly recommend the Plantain Sandwich with Chicken. Also a very cool array of South American drinks and sodas! Tastes like something out of this country! Picture attached below!

Friend took me here last summer and I haven't forgot about it. I've only tried the Pabillon arepa and damn, it's good. Fried bread with plantains and a large portion of beef brisket with cheese. Simple but amazing. The workers are really sweet and efficient. The space has multiple tables. I definitely need to come back and try more. Especially the desserts I see.

El Arepaso is a small family owned Venezuelan Cafe that has been in business since 2019. The restaurant offers a very selected selection of dishes that are authentic and delicious. The patacon is a fried plantain sandwich with cabbage, lettuce, tomato, ham, cheese, pink sauce, and chicken or shredded beef. If you like plantains, you have to try this sandwich. Its very unique; I haven't seen it elsewhere, and so delicious on top. For some reason, I got chicken instead of beef but I think the person at the counter didn't get the order correctly. Nevertheless, the chicken was great. I didn't try the other 3 dishes but that just gives me another reason to come back. With El Arepaso, coming back is a piece of cake. I love this place based on this initial visit.

Great place to get a quick and tasty meal! Definitely different than other restaurants around, my group and I decided to get a couple sides for the table. Family style dining is the way to go here, getting to try all the sides, my own food and a quick dessert made me want to come back to try the rest of the menu.

Wife found this spot and it was a surprise delight! It's a small little joint with several tables. You order at the counter. We had the Arepa de Pabellon, which was fantastic and full of flavor. The green sauce that came with it was delicious too. The last time I was a great a arepa was in NYC and this was just as good! I also got a chicken empanada on the side, which was just ok, but that is typical with chicken empanadas everywhere I think. I should have gotten the ground meat or ham and cheese. For the price, you can't go wrong. I will be back!Hot tip: bring mint or gum because was a bit garlicky!

Located in a strip mall, this joint is legit. No frills, just great food. The Arepa de Pabellon is loaded with flavor. Tucked between a soft flavorful arepa, it's sweet and savory with shredded beef, black beans, and fried plantain. You can't go wrong with this choice. Inexpressive too, $6.50.

We went here the first time several months ago on a whim because it's right next to the gym we go to. Wow. What this place lacks in ambience, it more than makes up for in quality food. We tried the shredded beef arepas, and they were wonderful. If you've never had one, it's basically a sandwich with seasoned shredded beef and asiago cheese between two thin pieces of lightly fried corn-type bread. We've had it several times since, and have decided the one with beef, black beans, and plantains (arepa pabellon)is our favorite. Don't let the fast food/diner appearance fool you; this place is amazing.

This is the best arepa in Tulsa. The quality is fantastic. The beef is my favorite, I've tried the pork and chicken and both are really delicious, but the beef is top notch. Love the plantains and black beans with the cool green sauce, honestly just Amazing. They just remodeled and it looks very nice! I'd add a picture but sadly I practically Inhaled the whole thing. Please try this place and keep Tulsa local restaurants being such a great part of T-Town.
