Nice Sat. Morning stop at the Edmond Farmers Market. A lot more vendors than there used to be, 2 full rows and more on the outside of the huge shed! Lots of great homeade items, food, veggies, plants, wine, and more! I love getting okra and tomatoes here, and the peppers were great!I love the unique jewelry and the prices are decent! I picked up 3 new pairs with fun and funky styles. If you have seen the new trucker hat styles with patches that are becoming popular, they also had lots of choices to customize your own. It wasn't tooooo hot at 9:30 AM and the shade kept us cool. Parking was easy across the tracks with a short walk. Sidewalk and flat grounds if your restricted mobility wise. Nice start to a Sat. Morning!

I love the Edmond Farmer's Market! They've brought in the best local vendors this summer to offer us locals a unique combination of offerings. You can come here to supplement or replace your weekly grocery store run. Their offerings this summer have included quite a spread:**many vendors providing non-GMO locally grown fruits / veggies **antibiotic free and free range meats**artisan soaps**Prairie Thunder breads**locally grown non-GMO micro greens (my personal favorite)**locally made dog treats**locally made pretzels and artisan breads**locally made salad dressings and BBQ sauces**fresh cut bouquets of flowers**locally made salsas, sauces, spices, and honey**locally produced fresh milk and other dairy products**locally sourced farm fresh eggsWhat's not to love about the Edmond Farmer's Market!? If you visit each week they'll be sure to keep you stocked up with the freshest local ingredients. Also, though not officially part of the Edmond's Farmer's Market, don't forget to stop by The Tamale Lady whose usually located near the entrance on 1st Street. Her tamales rock. She's got queso, chicken, pork, and beef. All are yummy. Get a bunch and enjoy them as a snack or meal throughout the week...I do :) Oh, also a regular at The Farmer's Market: Holey Rollers. In case you haven't had the pleasure: they're a food truck serving up your favorite locally made doughnuts and some yummy breakfast style drinks. They offer artisanal doughnuts like lavendar, banana walnut sea salt, chocolate blackberry, maple espresso just to name a few. If you live in the area, or want to come to join in the fun, you'll find plenty to explore at the Edmond Farmer's Market. See you next Saturday!!

Wonderful selection of locally grown produce and meat alike.Expect several locally owned food trucks, as well, in addition to flowers and shrubbery for sale.Parking can be a royal bitch. (I should dock a Yelp star for that, granted, but I'm not feeling especially bitchy today. Well, no more than usual, anyway.)

Just like it says in the name this is the better of the two weekly (in season) farmer's markets in edmond.Parking can be sticky. While there is street side parking lining both sides of broadway, on Saturdays those spots can go quickly. There are a number of surface lots close by, but again the closest spots fill up quick on saturdays. This leaves the off street parking by the rail road tracks (in what used to be the edmond depot) . That area never quite fills up and is located directly adjacent to the market. The market itself is pretty awesome and entirely worth shopping at. There is about a dozen booths with a good mix of food to craft related products. It is a little short on food trucks, but that's fine by me.About the produce. The rules for calling things organic and local isn't very well defined or enforced. It kind of relies on self enforcement and well, that doesn't always work. A good rule of thumb is that if a vendor struggles to answer a question like "Where did this come from?" then it may not be local or organic. Just something to keep in mind. Otherwise this is a pretty decent farmers market located right in the heart of downtown edmond, and an excellent place to start keeping your money in the local economy.

This a nice farmer's market with a wide variety of items. If you are looking for something specific get there early. I got there late and even though there was still a lot of stuff they were already out of what I was wanting.

My husband and I are new to Edmond and to the farmer's market scene. We had read that Edmond had one of the better markets, so our expectations were build up a bit. We arrived around 10:30 am which is a bit late for most markets of this nature. However, to our surprise, everything was just right. Parking was busy but easily accessible along the road and we walked right across the street. The market had great seasonal fruit and vegetables. Some of the first stands were priced a little higher than the stands that were further in the market. So heads up, don't buy the first thing you see, unless it is just absolutely fresh and what you needed. They also had a vendor from a farm with fresh milk, eggs, and cream. Bonus! There was a pie place, fresh bread, handmade granola, and a few crafts. Definitely we will be coming back!

We had a great time at the Edmond Farmer's Market yesterday! My cousin is an Edmond resident, and it was the first visit for both of us. I recommend circling around to see everything before swooping in to buy, because they have so much to offer. We found bread, wine, salsa, eggs, lotions, potted plants and herbs among all of the produce. The best tomato prices were on a table outside of the main tent (because you can't come home without tomatoes!). Some of the other prices seemed a bit high, but I don't know the area; they could be competitive with other local markets. We arrived around 9 a.m., and the main lot was full, but it didn't take long to find a spot on the street.

I love that they do this. The venue has been built several years and it's wonderful. There is a handful of wonderful local farmers selling their crops and homemade items.
