Echo Shop

I am writing this review after reading so many rude and disparaging comments by other reviewers. First of all, follow the rules people. The guidelines are very clear and you should do your due diligence in learning what is and isn't accepted. I have shopped there on several occasions and don't find the employees, selection or prices too different in comparison to other high end consignment stores.I think the confusion also lies in consignment vs. thrift store. Again, do your research. I agree some items are too expensive, at least for my budget. I either pass or come back and check to see if item is on sale. Often times the price has been reduced once or even twice. They also have an entire mens section. Everything is clean, nicely organized and well stocked.My only issue is that I prefer to have my rejects back to donate to my own charity however,Echo keeps what they don't want to resell and donates to the charity of THEIR choice. I would like it to be the customer's choice.

I do like vintage shops and I don't really have a phobia about buying used items, but stuff just seems a bit pricey here and the selection wasn't great. Don't get me wrong, there were some sweaters for $12 but they looked like used $12 sweaters. Everything that I thought I might want was no bargain at all--like $60 to $125 dollars. I just can't do that for used. There's a large shoe selection.... I have a harder time with that. If you like the hunt, then I would recommend. I've only shopped here, never tried to sell stuff. Staff was friendly but busy helping someone who brought in bags of clothes to try and sell.

seeing the prices I laughed and left. Miss me with that BS. I only went for a specific blouse. Ladies please don't waste your money on name brands or impressing people they will just gossip and be envious. Think about all the money you have spent on Handbags, clothing, big houses, cars and instead bought what you needed not wanted all that money in the bank today. Imagine what you would have. Love this place. They offer some very high end pieces. And believe me they have a security guard. But, he is always friendly.They are a wonderful place to consign or buy

Love this store! Large selection of men and women's options. High end to more typical brands. They authenticate their high end items, so you do not need to question if your purchase is authentic. Always stop here when I am in town.

Echo Shop is a local treat! Their staff is so sweet, especially Connie- I love working with her. I highly recommend this store for both shopping and selling

I can't begin to explain how much I love this place!Echo has quality high end gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories. They have brands from the gap to prada. Excellent selection of shoes. Every item is organized by color and category. All of the pants in one section color organized and dresses and so on.. This place is super clean has no funky smells like most places that sell used clothing does. Their prices can be high on some items that the items are 5 plus year old which is a little crazy to me but I do like that they mark all their items down that have been there for some time... you can snag a great deal on items especially if you find them on sale! They have tons of sportswear for women too if you play tennis or a runner. Although I did notice they don't have a large selection of sneakers. This place is incredible if you have expensive taste and on a budget come in here - you won't leave disappointed or empty handed probably!

I have zero idea what has happened to this place. The prices have gone up tremendously and the quality has gone down. I've found a J. Crew button up missing buttons for over $30. Really?! Gap dresses are priced for more than what they cost at retail. When I found two identical dresses priced differently, I asked why. I was told different employees price differently and they would only honor the higher priced item. No thanks.I used to love coming here but you can tell the business model has changed. The customer service is shoddy at best as well. No one greets you when you walk in nor thanks you for stopping in as you leave. I won't be coming back when I can buy a brand new piece of clothing for the same price as what they're charging for used.

I consign and shop at Echo. I love high end brands and unique clothing items. Most of my Eileen Fisher comes from this store. Many pieces are like new or even have the tags on them. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good store!

Refused to honor my appointment because my clothes weren't on hangers. I waited 3 months to get my appointment and they turned me away the minute I walked through the door. I always heard this shop was terrible but now I can definitely say this is an awful business.
