East Buffet

This is your only Chinese food option in Grove, and it's a decent buffet. One time I went in, the card machine was down, so I waited forever. Then they finally just wrote my card info down. It's nice and clean inside, but I prefer to get a box to-go to avoid overeating. But my biggest complaint is they don't weigh your box like other buffets, so you have to pay full buffet price no matter what you get in your to-go box. $15 is still not bad for the variety you can get, but it makes you want to just dine in and eat more. They are one of the few restaurants open on Mondays, so I enjoyed my to-go box, but I won't go often.

Order our first order from them and got it to go! Excellent Service and it was so Much Food! We are happy to report Everything was yummy.

Stopped by for Chinese food on Easter and couldn't be any happier. We were seated as soon as we walked in, drink orders taken and arrived before we were back from the buffet. Customer service was great, our waitress kept our table cleared of plates (because everyone had 2-3 each). Also, the buffet itself was clean and filling. So many different options to choose from. Will stop by here again if in the area.

Hadn't been here in 6 years. Still a quality Buffett. Very clean all around. Price is decent.

Sometimes the food is good, but when people give reviews about the owner being really mean I thought I could overlook it if the food was really good. It is really difficult to overlook something when this guy makes it a point to publicly humiliate people, especially plus size people. He figures if you're big you're going to eat up all his food so he tries to charge you double or triple the price which is totally illegal and then he screams at you in front of everybody when you don't want to pay exuberant price. If you list $12.95 as the price, Then that's what it should be. Not $26 because you're a big person. And then he screamed it in front of everybody and took my food away from me totally humiliating me. I wish I could go there on this guys days off but he seems to be there all the time every day.

The food here is gross and rancid. We went in as a group of 4. We went to get our food and the first bite was horrible. 2 people in our party ate and two of us didn't. They agreed to charge us for two buffets and then charged my card for all 4 meals. The police were even called.

Even just compared to the food in Joplin the food here is terrible. Service is wonderful, the buffet is gross. Save your money and eat in a different town .

I've traveled from one side of the country to the other and I've yet to find a better place. Great service, and even better food!

I went with a group. The buffet was mostly fried food. I ordered a moo goo Gia pan to go. It had large chunks of green pepper, it isn't supposed to have green peppers in it at all. I'm not fond of them. The staff looks bored and ready to go home. Terrible experience.

I recently moved here from Southern California, and imho Southern California has some of the best Chinese food I've ever had.That being said, this place doesn't meet that "standard" that I'm used to, but it isn't bad either.I've read all the negative responses first, before I tried it out for myself, and I was pleasantly surprised!I had the Orange Chicken - which was better than I was expecting, and I had the Teriyaki Chicken - which also tasted pretty good. The portions were generous and the food was hot!So overall, I was content, satisfied, full and happy!
