I took my car to Eason collision specialist in Claremore to have work done. One of the things I needed fixed was my headliner. Both the owner and manager admitted the job that was done looked bad so they kept it longer. After three days back and forth on the phone with them they said to me "let's be honest, this car hasn't been taken care of good." I told them they were rude for saying that and if my car was in perfect shape I wouldn't have needed their services to begin with. The owner said he hadn't really payed close attention to the work because of the shape my car was in!!!! He finally said he wouldn't charge me for the headliner because he just wanted to not have to deal with me!!! When I go pick it up today the glove box is broken and won't shut at all and everything is gone from it! When I told the manger he said oh well I don't know what to tell you! So I said you guys are the worst, his reply was yes we are! I was so upset I left crying.

They consistently do excellent work here. However, this time I felt there was a lack of communication that cost me time and money and this experience was not a perfect 5 points. For one, when I dropped my car off I asked for a time estimate and was told "I don't know." That was the sum total of information provided. I waited 5 days without any updates. I then called them and requested some info on progress. It happened to be ready, so I went in to pick it up. Not a huge issue and I don't believe this is their usual way of communicating. At that point I still would have said they were perfect. However, here's where they REALLY lost their perfect score: the employee who informed me my car was ready should have communicated to me that if I planned to pay by credit card there would be a 3.5% surcharge. I arrived with only my credit card and no checks. That's when I saw the little sign on th e desk "communicating" the new payment policy. This can be a big additional charge in a body shop! I paid an additional $65 because I had a small repair, but this could be a big if you had extensive work done. Hopefully, this communication of mine helps you avoid my fate!
